Yes but if you were told the circumstances and provided a context would you of? You can only truly answer that at the end of the season.

If we keep going the way we are going we'll finish 6th.

At least 6th will get you Europa football this season. :)

Redknapp needs to use every tool at his disposal to finish 3rd or 4th.

I just hope he can do it.

Even a few years back at Portsmouth, he used to fly off until January... and at Portsmouth he used 4-5-1...

At West Ham he he used some weird formations on occasion, 3-5-2 (or 5-3-2 if you prefer)...

So for his team struggle from February onwards... not surprising.

For him to go 4-4-2... out of character.

yup. twas a great decision to stand pat with our squad in the jan xfer window. sitting idly with our butts on top of our hands will cost us dearly. saha and nelsen are clearly matchwinners who are top 4 caliber.

oh well, at least the bale and modric money will keep levy happy.

Ouch. We haven't scored an away goal since Adebayor's penalty at Arsenal, either. Next up, one of our all-time bogey grounds.

Again with the Levy bollox. Let's blame him for his mistakes and not others m'kay?

Levy won't spend £9m/£10m on a striker eh? He'd spend that much back in 2006/2007 FFS.

Levy will delighted, absolutely fucking overjoyed at missing out on the CL. Oh yes siree, he'll be stroking one out right now at the very thought.

To be fair, for free transfers Saha and Nelsen have been decent enough signings. We're lacking in cover because we've got good squad players out on loan because they wanted out due to not getting any games with us. Because Redknapp wouldn't rotate.

It just shows how far we have fallen to still be hanging onto forth after an 8 game run like that.

Truly heartbreaking.

This! It's a saddening scene and what's worse is the denial our Manager seems to be in! Harry "it wasn't our day" Redknapp.

At the moment, our team is just like a deflated balloon, lying limp in a corner. I can't see any fight, resolve or change this close to the end of the season, which is a real shame considering how important these next games are.

Today, seeing Deffy up top as the lone man again was frustrating, he was barely involved (not that he had much to work with) and was pretty much swallowed up by their defence. Mackie showed about as much eagerness and enthusiasm as our entire team put together today!

Will be truly sad if we end the season limping AGAIN

Defoe's one shot pretty much summed up his entire game. Not that he was much worse than the rest of them. Danny Rose showed more in his 25 minutes than most of them have in the last few games.

Out of the relegation zone (y)

That table just further emphasis how dreadful we had to have been to drop 5 points at home to Norwich and Wolves. Those are the results that are hardest to forgive (albeit Wolves was a bit before Feb 12th).

Lambert's a top manager but us apart, Norwich's results have been dreadful since Jan.

9 pts from 10. Even just 2 more wins - hardly asking for the bloody world here - and we'd be in the box seat in 3rd. That's it. I'm banning myself from this thread. It just enrages me.

Having been morale boosted by today's win this thread has kicked me in the nuts with steel toe caps because we're playing a h team in better for than us next.
