Got to say, I'm as impressed as hell by his start. That's likely down to my own prejudice and bias but long may it continue.

Not sure he's really that much like Redknapp? Seems to have a decent level of disdain for the journos, just manages to channel it into a more salt-o-the-earth vibe and they fall for it..

I am impressed by the way he humbly refuses to take any credit for Ade's great performances

Equally impressed by the class he showed to credit AVB for his share of the away wins that make up our record sequence of away wins

BUT

He'll never be the next Arsene Wenger when he keeps admitting to fouls that should have been penalties - he should know to pretend not to have seen the push by now (being a gooner you'd expect him to know all about Wenger)

Those that talk on and on blindly about 'pressing' should listen to what he says about Christian Eriksen, what he says is absolutely vital.

From a purely interview/press conference perspective, I've never seen a Spurs manager talk as much sense as Sherwood has done since he's taken the reins. Hugely impressive in front of the media, IMO - I particularly like the low-key tone with which he answers questions: it feels very matter-of-fact and I'm all for that.

When combined with the fact that he's had a mostly excellent start in terms of results, and our team play is looking more incisive and attacking than it has all season, I don't see how anyone can't be at very least encouraged, if not actively happy at the moment.

'At the end of the day it's swings and roundabouts, and if you want to win matches against your swanseas and your crystal palaces, you've got to play proper football, and if you don't win it's goodnight Charlie, you know?' - Tim Sherwood

Nice one Tim. Loved the way he responded to the question about Dawson fouling Bony and says matter of factly 'yeah, it looked like a push to me' and just smiles. LOL.

Damnt Tim! Your interviews make it impossible to not like you. Hurtin my schtick here. Fucker.

In all seriousness though, he gives impressive interviews and the results have been good so far. We'll see what happens against City and the team he picks. Sounds like he's gonna go attacking instead of sitting back. Risky. But, Audere Est Facere. To Dare is To Do, gentleman. Come at us, Pelligrini. We'll come right back at you. COYS!

He's making the vitriolic abuse spat at him by ignorant people like you before the team had even kicked a ball look like the pathetic childishness that it was.

It doesn't matter what happens against City or anybody else, he's already proved how disgraceful that was.

Coupla times Tim referred to Spurs management as ' I' . Interesting as I thought we were managed by a trio
of Tim , Ramsey and Sir Les . Good down to earth interview from Sherwood .

I said when AVB left it was absolutely vital the club appointed from within It was between Sherwood and Freund imo looking good at the moment. The acid test is when the blip comes.... it's everyones responsibility to back the man, be responsible with the moaning.

What I liked about AVB was the fact that he wanted us to be tight at the back and control games with possession. Problem is it didn't work.
What scared me with TS is he is more for we will score more than you, that is great to watch but only if you are winning.
Man City play we will score more than you and it works for them and they are a joy to watch and fingers crossed it is going to work for us.
What is clear to me is that TS, like Pellagrini is keeping it simple and letting the players play to their strengths. The Man City game could be a classic.
TS is starting to impress me and I am feeling a lot more confident about top 4 again.
What is obvious to me though is that we have a very talented squad.

He's had 2 blips, going out to the Spammer and the Arse' in the cups, and the team has responded vey well.
Got to say he's nothing like Harry, he talks sense.
