How could anyone turn down the mighty Sunderland. If they want him they will get him.

Maybe we could strike a partnership deal with them like we did R.Madrid.

Personally I'd like to keep him unless it was a really high offer and we had a replacement already lined up.
On his day he is great....can break up the play, can keep the ball and can drop a shoulder like no one else ....downside in some games he needs to release the ball faster, instead of slowing the game down.
Deffo worth keeping imho.

Think alot of his faults our down to the way hes been trained from a kid and till early 20s....remember reading he said when training they just had a post as a goal and they had to keep the ball and dribble and touch the post without shooting to score ......and you can see that by the way he plays.

Hoping with a second season with Poch and co alot of our players will have a even better understanding of what is required of them and we should see a step forward.....and if not then those players need to move on.

They must have received some encouragement from Dembele to keep up the pursuit.

what they may have is the promise of being a starter and playing his fav position and possibly the promise of ' we will build the side around you'

Seems this may have legs, the new manager promised big signings and Sunderland want to deliver!! I can see him going for over the odds and Levy with his wheelbarrow on route to the bank!

The old "hands off" tactic, we'll get a £15-20mil bid and he'll be out the door in a blink of an eye, and Sunderland would have been Levyed

I'd much rather we keep him - he is the only player capable of keeping the ball and slowing the game down. He hasn't been utilised properly in my opinion.
