Kante is the only player from Leicester who'd I'd take, he'd be perfect for our high energy game

I think another defensively minded midfielder is a must over the summer for squad rotation, if Dier or Dembele are out we don't really have a quality replacement particularly with Bentaleb having such an indifferent season

I would pay top money for Mahrez and Kante as they would improve us, are still young and have experience of playing in the EPL and being winners.

Add another striker and we are sorted.

Money talks and our turnover is greater than Leicesters so we should be able to offer better wages.

Not forgetting the lure of living in London.

Other teams may be interested but will they have CL?

The players may want to come but why on earth would Leicester sell? They have the tv money, money from winning the league, guaranteed CL money from group stages. They are rolling in it.

Unless the players go on strike, Leicester have no need to sell

Their owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabh, is also loaded, and it'll be interesting to see what their next step is. I think their business in recent years has been fantastic; Gray and Amartey could be the next couple of players to really turn out to be a huge steal.

with Man C & Pep, he will have plenty of money to spend, but for the tactics he plays he will need quite a big overhaul in squad to do it, and will need to get them used to his style. he will also be coming to a lot more competitive league than he has ever managed before. I really hope though we get to play them very early on before they settle.

Mourinho at Man U, will need to make a few changes to the squad, and a bit of time for them to gel

Conte at Chelscum, won't have as much time to work with them due to the Euro's, and possibly need a complete overhaul with the defence, and keeper, possibly no Hazzard or Costa, and a squad that might not react too well to a disciplinarian.

Klopp myself I think he will need 1 full season at Liverpool, but I'm more worried about them than the 3 above.

I said it in another thread, perhaps Poch will need to use the Raneri phycology, get the team to get to 40pts ASAP, and if that means grinding out a few 1-0 or 2-0 results instead of going gun-hoe even when 2-0 up then so be it.

I don't watch or really follow European leagues so don't know most of the players that get mentioned on here, and going by what @Trix said before, that we won't be going mad, I don't know what to expect.

my outs would be
Yedlin - not really shone enough for Sunderland for me to want him back
Fazio - he can't handle the pace
Carroll - not sure he has the build to be a premier player
Bentaleb - I don't think Poch would put him as 1st on the team sheet, and I think he will ask to leave due to not being.
Chadli - he is one that just can't grasp the pressing game, and not sure he will want to be a permanent bench player

my ins would be
haven't got a fucking clue:ROFLMAO: from reading here
C/D/M that can also cover Toby
Boufal going by what I've seen on here
Lacazzette same as, especially if he can cover both LWF RWF and cover Kane

the only worry is if we got the 2 above, Alli would then have to drop back to CM, and him and Dembele will be rotated a fair bit.

anyway can't wait for next season, hopefully we will finish 2nd, with the bonus being Poch has always improved his league position each year;)

I understand your argument regarding the teams you mentioned that some require work etc, but i still cant see us finishing this high or higher again.
As for incomings we probably dont need a lot 3 maybe 4 quality signings should do the trick, certainly another striker which should of happened this year to ease the pressure of kane.

I agree that we may not finish as high as we did this season if we do not strengthen correctly.

Chelsea will focus purely on the league. City have excellent squad with a very good manager coming in. Man utd whether Jose or LVG is in charge will compete. Liverpool and Klopp will also be fighting for top 4.

I think title challenger's will be chelsea/city/spurs. Top 4 challenger's will be the above and including arsenal/ Liverpool and Utd.

I want the same as last summer:

1. All deals done before the first game of the season so we are ready to hit the ground running.

2. More than 1 striker at the club. Whether thats Batshyuai or berahino or whoever

3. An attacker who can beat a man at pace or with some skill. we don't seem to have that. I can't see us getting one of these as well as a striker though as we won't have the money. We will need to sell to buy as usual, which will mean selli a couple of non starting XI players.

4. An experienced defensive midfielder.

5. Taking advantage of being i the Champions League to attract players, we didn't do that last time, just lucked upon VDV last minute.

Points 1 to 4 can be found in my posts from last summer when we failed to address them then. (Yes I know we are second!)

A cast of from a super club would be a nice present.

Anyone know who will be available from Madrid, Bayern, Barca, PSG this year? James Rodriguez season long loan?:woot:

Any names for an experienced center mid? I agree that's what we need. Alonso....? Can Batshuyi play off the striker too or is he Soley a no 9? We don't have to spend a fortune this summer, and will need least work out of big boys, but we certainly need to strengthen, and keep the players on there toes

There was talk of Kovacic from Real, Bartra from Barca, Pastore from PSG in the past. You'd assume there would be some youngsters looking for top level first team experience at those clubs too.

We have had some sort of ITK on a striker, wide attacker and utility defender but nothing on a CM. I know we aint going to spend a lot of cash but we cant go into UCL with Carroll or Mason if our first string CM is injured.

Berardi would be a good addition and get able. Rumours Arsenal want Icardi. May be a bit too much for us though.

Turns out to be quality on FM so good enough for me!

Batshuayi looking more and more likely judging by the various sources we've seen commenting on it.
I'd be happy with that.
Grab a genuine Dier type DM, and I'd be happy we've had a productive summer window.
I can see the theory behind someone else in the AM capable of picking a locked defence, by creative passing or sheer incisive pace, Boufal seems to be getting most love on here. Not as critical as the two roles above in my opinion, but a nice extra option to have if that's what happens.
Curious as to who is Dembele's understudy, could be the DM we buy is capable of playing alongside Dier, not just instead of him, or it could be that with an added AM, Alli is played deeper. Bentaleb may be given another season, as that's probably more his role than the designated DM.

Batshuayi
Dendoncker, Wanyama
(As outside options, Topal, been linked in the media on a free, fit enough to play our system despite being 30, could be a Naybet safe pair of hands as Ball develops. Some suggesting Kirschoff from Sunderland, maybe not a bad shout, CB/DM, used to the league.)
Boufal or Malli from media sources.

Ideal. Nothing drastic, not major overhaul, just some smart reshaping of the balance of the squad.
