Seeing as you called him ‘dreadful’ I can understand the reply
A bit over the top maybe, but if you look at the player he is now he is worse than Janssen

He’s nothing like Janssen. He’s highly talented and technically gifted. He’s a perfect signing and has all the raw attributes to be moulded into a successful top flight player. Janssen on the hand jumped from Sunday league to the Dutch top flight to us. He has appalling stamina and looks way out of his depth. Look at Werner, we pushed for him as a kid at a time when he only had a couple of goals... now look at him, one of the most highly rated young strikers in Europe.

He could be a great player but that's not what i'm saying. I'm simply saying that as of right now he is nowhere good enough for us. Could he be? Sure. Would it be worth a punt? Sure, why not.
But lets say we got rid of Llorente and Janssen. This guy as our back up striker simply isnt good enough. He could develop into a great player. But again, thats not what i was saying.
hahaOut: Sissoko, Toby (sadly doesn’t look like he’s staying), Llorente, Aurier (promote KWP), Davies if Rose stays (Sessegnon as replacement), Vorm (why have 3 non home grown playersfor gk?).

In: Tah (replace Toby), Sessegnon, Malcolm (Alli and Eriksen can be used in midfield and puts pressure on Eriksen to improve), a young striker like Fiete-Arp, Dolberg etc.
Onomah to be given a chance in Cm too.
By this, we reduce the age of the squad and all these players have huge potential and are affordable in wages and fees.
haha
Stones and Martial?
I don't think Pep fancies Stones, and Martial is the kind of luxury player Jose has tossed before (think de Bryune). Also, I like the idea of poaching from Manchester.
The downsides of course are that Stones might be shit, and Martial probably wouldn't swap United's bench for possible long spells on Spurs' bench.
Timo Werner has told @FourFourTwo he dreams of playing in England's top flight – with Manchester United top of his list.
Werner: “Yes, playing in the Premier League is a dream for me. I would like to play for two or three clubs, and Manchester United are one of those clubs.”
Werner: “In Liverpool it’s also their stadium and the atmosphere. But when I have to decide, I’m more Manchester United than Liverpool.”

Its highly plausible that the journalist has twisted his words... Why label Werner a dick etc...
Last week Poch stated in an interview he would rather leave us when he no longer felt wanted/loved by the fans.
The next day i read a headline Poch threatens to quit spurs..... So give Werner some credit. It reminds me of the Rose interview.
It's horrible. TBF though RB Leipzig are a fake plastic club. They deserve everything they get from their mercenary players. He probably wouldn't have said the same thing if he still played for Stuttgart.Don't understand why players come out and name clubs they want to play for while contracted to another club.
For starters, it's incredibly disrespectful to his current club and teammates. Also, it just makes him look a bit of a tit if his club sell him to someone other than United.
Seems pretty clear to me.
"Playing in the Premier League is a dream for me. I would like to play for two or three clubs, and Manchester United are one of those clubs. Manchester United and Liverpool were the teams I watched quite a lot in England. They were the two that I’m a little bit a fan of, because they have so much history. When Alex Ferguson was the coach, United won everything and were outstanding. In Liverpool it’s also their stadium and the atmosphere,” he says. “But when I have to decide, I’m more Manchester United than Liverpool. I'm now at a point where at some stage in the future I'd like to play in a team that wins titles.”

Arp is dreadful. Went to the game against Mainz this weekend and the quality of the game was championship level at best. And Arp is not even a starter. Yes he is young and got potential but if we bought him now he wouldn't even be on the bench for us.
If we moved Llorente and Janssen on I'd prefer Dolberg to Arp as a direct replacement.
