Apparently Fulham wanted £50m in Jan for him.what’s sessegnon price tag now £40m ? Crazy to think he is still just 17. And someone so lorded like Edwards can’t even get on Norwich bench in same league. Think some people are almost a bit Blaise about sessegnon achievements this season.
Zaha every bloody year??
Who at the club has a crush on him? Poch or Levy?
It makes sense that we're looking at association trained players such as Zaha so he can join our CL squad without us having to drop anyone. Signing Malcom would require us to drop another player, with Foyth already missing out atm. If Palace go down I'm sure his price tag will be less than 50m.https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...e-for-crystal-palaces-wilfried-zaha-099n29zrb
Tottenham target £50m move for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha
Tottenham Hotspur are planning a fresh move for Wilfried Zaha and are confident of beating Chelsea to his signature this summer.
The north London club failed with their efforts to sign the winger twice last season but are hopeful that Crystal Palace will sell him, even if they avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Signing the 25-year-old would be seen as a statement of intent from Tottenham that the cost of the club’s new stadium — which could be £750 million and is scheduled to open next season — will not affect their spending in the transfer market.
Chelsea want to add attacking players and Manchester City also made a tentative inquiry for Zaha last month.
Last season was Zaha’s best campaign since he returned to the south London club from Manchester United in 2014, scoring seven league goals as Palace avoided relegation. He signed a five-year deal worth around £100,000 per week in May. Spurs made offers of up to £21 million in the summer of 2016 when Steve Parish, the Crystal Palace chairman, called a bid of £12 million “ridiculous”. He could cost more than £50 million.
Zaha hopes to return from a knee problem in one month after being injured in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle United two weeks ago. He missed two months at the start of the season as Palace have struggled for goals. Luka Milivojevic is their top scorer, with seven, but six have been penalties. Christian Benteke, their frontline striker, has scored two league goals.
Huh? He's more than good enough as proved last season
If we are spending 50 on Zaha, we might as well spend 60-70 to bring Bale back home instead.
So if we take this week for example, we play Kane in the PL, then you want Son as back up striker to play in the FA cup replay, possibly after already playing in the PL game, and possibly the next PL game as well, possibly 3 games in a week
All that is going is rotating positions rather than rotating players and if Son were injured we'd be screwed
Its certainly not the way I would want to see us play, I dont think its too much to ask to have a proper second striker
get real to subsidies half of the wages, idc, still be more worth then buying zahaBale is on like 300 thousand a week though.

“thfc have made contact with Napoli's Amadou Diawara (20, CDM) through his representatives.
[tmw]” this would be very good signing imo

I am pretty sure the current wage doesn't follow the player. This isn't the NBA where contracts are transferred. If Bale were to come our way we would have to break his contact with a transfer fee and then negotiate a wage with him. Of course we would not pay 300 a week, but we would be able to negotiate say $150 or something of the likes.
Please tell me I am wrong, but I think this has been clarified time and time again on these transfer boards.
Because love is the only wage he really needs...You're not wrong. Why would Bale more than halve his wage to come here?
