I'm guessing this is just rotating/resting players.

I hope they just play the strongest team in the knockouts.

Yeah definitely rotation only about 3 of best Xi starting. Will be very tough semi and final. Interesting to see Chukwemeka and Devine link up again.

On a side note, it’s a bit of a shame they’re not putting more into the coverage and refereeing here. No replay, and the onside was very easy to spot. Usually I have sympathy with the lino because it’s hard to spot offsides, but this was one of those where the timing and recipient of the pass was very obvious (as the assister was stepping into it)

Something about Devine that just screams quality. Even when he only sees the ball in flashes he just has that air about him..

Thing I noticed in the last match (not watching tonight) was that England U-19 have amazing athleticism all over. There will be some great players come out of this squad, but Devine, when he came on, seemed a whole age group ahead with his ball control, passing, and movement. England were playing at 100mph, but then Devine just seemed to have so much time. And am I right that he's one of the youngest in the squad?

Going to be a real player.

@PCozzie I think there is another 17 year old in the squad.

Not sure if he has been getting as much game time as Devine.

Just looked Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is a few days younger and started the first 2 games and seems to be worth more than the rest of the squad

If that's the right wing back, what a player he looks. Saw a little of the game the other night, he was a constant threat.

No, that's Brooke Norton-Cuffy, plays for Arsenal u23s. Wouldn't be surprised to see him break through this coming season.

Apologies for putting this here. I understand that the Premier League 2 will change from being u23 to U21 this season

Will or has the same thing likely happen with the Professional development league?
