I agree but Fabio was a master of this sort of stuff at Juve. At one point they had 100 on loan.
No surprise that we have loans in and out, that’s how he operates.
Depends how you look at it..are we 3rd party owners or is it just a sell on clause.
Ramsey just signed for Rangers with Juve paying virtually all his 400k wages.

On another note. Feb 15th Man City v sporting Lisbon CL last 16. Will Marcus be on the bench. Will be interesting to see how far he has progressed.

Bennett is not going to get a look in. He has one trick. Feint out, cut in, shoot at goal. Its a decent trick but it doesn't come off enough to be justified considering the rest of his game is pretty below par.

struggling to get my head around that tbh but i think we're retaining our 50% stake?

I read that as meaning we get 50% and then on top we get 10% extra on the price above what they paid for him.
As an example, if he was sold for £30mil, we would get 50% of the first 7.5mil and 60% of the other 22.5

Must be joking. We are playing Brighton in the cup , they are one of the hardest teams to beat in the country. I’m all for giving youth a chance but not in a game like this.

it's a bit strange to me that we rarely see devine with the first team, i just hope we get his development right.

i see him potentially as a conor gallagher type midfielder, which might not be conte's cup of tea but if we're being honest he probably won't be here by the time alfie starts to break through anyway.

I have also felt this way about Alfie, every time I see him and when I read up on him he seems to have all the mental characteristics to be involved in the first team, he's determined, tenacious, works hard and is the type of fighter on the pitch that Conte would love.

He's also shown a high level of ability for his age and I would personally prefer to see him on the first team bench over White as I think he has more to offer.

Devine was injured. He’s only really been back a month or so. Hopefully we see some progression with the first team in next few months.

I’m sure one of the itks said we’re planning on using Devine & Nile John during the second half of the season, obviously NJ is on loan now but hopefully that means AD could get involved?

Devine is still very young. If he gets a look in because he is impressing when training for the first team I'm all for it, but at his age development takes priority over first team minutes.

Not sure what happened to Lavinier loan to Charlton. Was told by a few people that he was set to join them.

Was interest in BLF on loan too before his injury vs Blackburn 23’s which is frustrating.

On Bennett and Bowden I wonder if the fact that they played for Spurs in Europa Confrence qualifier vs Pacos and then out on loan at Crewe and Oldham respectively meant that they could not play for a 3rd club in one season. Is that a rule?

Surely we wouldn't have recalled Bowden if that was the case.

Maybe we just felt we'd made a mistake sending him to that utter basket case of crapness that is the current Oldham setup.

I think they just want to keep some numbers in case of an emergency. We literally have 1 spare outfield player on a match day. So 5 or 6 missing which this season isn’t inconceivable at all and you’re looking at Scarlett White Paskotsi and then it’s anybody’s guess probably Devine Bowden Bennett.
