Our final game in U18 PL cup away to Fulham Ko was 11 AM. We have to win and hope Stoke beat Leeds to progress to 1/4 finals.

Not sure it’s injuries tbh, don’t remember having anything major. Just easy to over hype these kids and we never learn myself includ
i did expect more from parrott but he's still young, he has a lot of quality but maybe not the maturity to go along with it yet. whilst it's true that young players often get overhyped, they also often get written off prematurely if they aren't tearing it up immediately so it works both ways. i don't know if something's going on with him at the moment as he started 12 games in a row, then on the bench for two but then not even in the squad for the last four(one due to internationals). to not even be making the squad looks a bit suspicious to me but hopefully it works itself out whatever's going on.

good to see markanday reportedly attracting interest from championship sides. bournemouth would make sense given the parker links but obviously playing time is the most important factor, along with being in a team that actually likes to play football.
On MK team news the other day, Parrott missed last two games due to covid protocols . They have 2 forwards injured this when’d so may get back in. Seems to be at a decent club who play proper football so hope he can get some decent game time.

There is a distinct possibility that its Charlie Sayers, Southend left back who's still only 17. He's on the brink of the Southend United first team.

Yeah can’t be many C sayers around and right age. But he was on Southend bench last week and under contract till 2023. So not sure how that would work.

Losing 3-0

SOUTHEND United left-back Charlie Sayers is on trial at Tottenham Hotspur.

The 17-year-old has made six appearances for Blues this season but has now attracted interest from Spurs.

Sayers played for Tottenham’s under 18 side in the Premier League Cup at Fulham this morning and is not in Blues’ squad for this afternoon’s match at Altrincham

Didn’t realise a player on a pro contract in the football league could go on a trial at another club outside of a window. Maybe he isn’t on a full pro contract yet.
