Thank you.

follow up question: are any potentially good enough for a first team spot at a club with our aspirations, or at least regular rotation options?
None of the 3 currently good enough quite a way off. It’s only really Parrott Skipp Tanganga that are probably currently good enough.

I can't remember who said it earlier, but I remember reading that apparently there were no academy players ready for Mourinho to use, and peoplec omplaining about the lack of talent. You literally only need one player good enough per age group, as no more are going to get a chance anyway, so I don't see the point in having 11 talents.

We've got at least 3 you've just named, with 4 of the other most talented from Tanganga's age group all having left. Roles is the only one to remain and is doing OK. I don't really know what people expect.

Re: Cirkin. As most would know I've gone on about him for a while and with Madueke he was one of the players I was most looking forward to seeing come through in this group. From what I've seen of him this year he is still easily one of the best players and should be playing u23s regularly. I can definitely seeing him coping more than well enough training with the first team. Whether he is ready right now, I'm not sure, but I always have a tendency to underrate them, I'm sure in a month or two if he was dropped into a Pl game as a sub near the end he'd look comfortable

Sashon Aird-Munn update. As some will know Sashon was released by us as an U16. He joined Fulham but lasted a matter of weeks with them before rocking up at Wigan. He failed to earn a scholarship there either and is now doing the commercial academy circuit. He was pretty highly rated at one point so I'm not quite sure what has precipitated his fall from grace. He definitely had talent, so I hope he gets himself sorted before too long.

Their best player Harvey Elliott was snapped up by Liverpool (Compensation around £1m). Current team standouts are Cody Drameh (RB),Fabio Carvalho (Att MF), Jay Stansfield (FW), George Wickens (GK) all England Youth Internationals and Connor McAvoy (CB) a Scotland U19 player. Also they have a very good LB Stefan Parkes who is U16 and a Eng U16 cap.

Big game tonight for the U18's v LIVERPOOL in the FA Youth Cup 3rd Round. Liverpool are the holders and could field a very strong team including 2 Dutch Youth Internationals in Sepp van den Berg(CB) and Ki-Jana Hoever(RB/CB/MF). Other selections possible are Harvey Elliott(RW/MF)(ENG U17), James Norris(LB)(ENG U17),Layton Stewart(FW)(ENG U18), Billy Koumetio(CB)(FRANCE U17) and Leighton Clarkson(MF).
Hopefully Spurs are injury free (and don't omit them for other reasons) and play all their best players - Troy Parrott, Harvey White, Luis Binks, Mal Walcott, Kion Etete, Dennis Cirkin, J'Neil Bennett, Nile John, Max Robson, Tarrelle Whittaker, Demi Lusala and possibly Dane Scarlett(U16). We are good enough to beat them and it should be a cracking match. If Spurs win they will likely face Wigan Athletic away. This I will watch and send a report. So COYS!

Very surprised Etete isn't involved. I can see Mourinho taking an instant liking to him, myself.
Why do you say that? I haven’t seen him unfortunately this season. What are your views on him? I am intrigued. Will tell you why once I hear your reply :)
