Met him when England played Brazil in the Umbro Cup (when I had no idea who he was) but sadly never once he was the great he became.

Elder folk may disagree but easily the best finisher in my lifetime, and I’d be shocked if I witness anybody better.

Football looks awful and my worry is that statistically these 1-0 type wins will turn into 0-0 or losses.

The football really doesn't look awful. Jesus. The first half was poor in an attacking sense but the second half was more than adequate. It could have easily been more than 1-0 in that second half.

Royal killed every attack down that side.
Bentacur chasing the ball in circles and leaving gaping holes in the middle.
PEH being the “outlet” in the middle but not managing to play any decent balls.
No one in central defence picking any sort of long pass.
Son being absolutely useless.
Deki losing the ball or being muscled off it.
Kane barely involved.
Was a horrible display all around.

Ref gave us nothing as well. Not watched it back yet but it seemed he got a lot of calls wrong?

Second half much better but PEH was worst player on pitch. Shocked he got MotM.

We need a midfielder who can progress the ball forward. We also need a ball-playing CB.

To be fair we had both of those on the bench. With three games in seven days coming up I expect they will start to see significant time.

I wouldn’t worry. We’re a much taller, stronger, fitter team than they are. And that’s what counts. ‘Round these parts, anyhow…

Unsure if you’re being sarcastic or not. But if you were then i echo the sentiment. We may be large but small nippy technical players who retain the ball and have good technique will be tough to play against. Just look at the chelsea game!

We have been overplayed by the media and some of our fanbase but I don't think we are as good as some think.
