This game woke me up middle of the night, it was worse than the freddie kruger nightmares i used to get as a kid.

I mean, its just a game, played by a bunch of multi millionaires, it shouldnt be having this sort of effect. I thought i forgot about this game quite quickly aswell, obviously not.

I woke up multiple times through the night because of it! Seriously, how can a game of football impact on my psyche so much, I'm a man in my mid 30s ? I even dreamt that we were awarded a penalty the following day from VAR and Kane tucked it away this morning ( I think due to United getting one after the final whistle against Brighton ?). I need professional help....

Where was 'The Leader' out there when we needed him? It is no coincidence that City are no longer quite the force they were since Kompany left.

Bale scores with that chance in the 92nd minute 9 times out of 10, and Lanzini either skies or completely misses that shot he took in the 94th minute 99 times out of 100. We were insanely unlucky that both happened to work in West Ham's favour.

Really fine margins, but the eventual outcome to both incidents was hugely unlikely. I can't stop thinking about this and it's driving me insane.

He scored twice and got another assist. But I get what you're saying. Someone to marshal the defence.

It was a bit of freak result, West Ham, didn't threaten and got very lucky.

What we need to be is more game smart, the moment West Ham got the first, we need to just kill the game, take time with everything, knock the ball around a bit more, players need to go down and time waste. Something to take any momentum out of the game. Kane is great at doing it, but we need more players to switch to that winning mindset.

These are the small margins we are talking about. Better game management and we'd have come away with the three points.

It's all happened before even to the greatest team and manager ever , this was the only really detailed report I could find , main difference Burnley were a much superior team than yesterdays Hammers but another team in claret & blue .

he did this yesterday at 3-2 when he drew the foul and then stayed down “injured“. Surely our other players could have done the same when it was 3-1? Instead Aurier drew the foul but for West Ham. There’s a reason Jose was furious when he did it regardless of if you think it was a foul or not, he gave the referee a decision to make.

I still don't understand the freekick decision at the end. It was not a freekick. Referees keep doing this and it is really pissing me off, if that was a freekick then Bale should have got a penalty.

6 months ago we were playing awful football and not winning

now we are playing sensational football and not finishing teams off

The latter is much easier to solve at least

still very annoying obviously

I think if the game was 3-3 then player reaction gets us the pen, but because it looked like we were heading for a win it wasn't given.

A lot of positives so I'm still happy even though we threw away a lead.

We're not boring to watch anymore
We have 3 world class forwards who are going to cause havoc.
Hopefully rodon and dier can form a great partnership
Ndombele finally fit and showing best form
Alli isn't slowing down our play

Can't see any teams running away with the league this year so it will be a exciting season.

So many posts I can't remember who said it but whoever is getting pelters for being devastated he probably went to bed looking at the PL table seeing where we could have been and noticing the home record of LDD.
Look at it posters it really is shite not an Arse or a Pool in sight.

We get a lot of those. Almost as though we don't do enough to make sure they don't happen.

What is most frustrating on reflection is how we handled Antonio yesterday. Usually a shoe in to score against us - didn’t get a sniff, we played him brilliantly. He gets subbed at 3 down and you think it’s definitely over at that point. Ahhhh!!

I said the exact same thing to my son while watching. Snodgrass muscles his way in front of Aurier and then falls to the ground. The contact was completely initiated by Snodgrass. He knew what he was doing and the ref fell for it.
