Ndombele, Lamela and Son have probably been our three most committed players this season - pretty odd to drop all of them.

Get that Son is probably just being rested after a tough international break though tbf.
Son got back yesterday

I’m not a huge fan of three at the back but I certainly see the sense of going with that formation to compensate for the lack of confidence we’re going through at the moment.

Wait.....

Moura is starting????

But without Son on the other wing?
Why will Poch never use the both of them at same time with one either side?
Anyway, dont think it matters to be honest.
Could and should win comfortably with that line up on paper but I'm expecting another shit performance and defeat.

Really disappointed with that line-up. We are relying on two fullbacks with next to no end product for most of our creativity. Was really hoping that Poch would make a statement and drop those who don't want to be here and/or are under performing.

You'd still hope we would have too much for a very out of form Watford side. Hopefully Dr Tottenham is not doing his rounds this afternoon.

I hope I’m wrong but I can’t see any creativity in this team. Our wingbacks won’t create chances the same with the midfield. Alli is more dangerous without the ball than with the ball and Lucas can’t create anything. Feels like the only hope is Kane to drop deeper

Remember we have red star on Tuesday, a game we really need to win, so some rotation was always gonna be possible.

Happy to see wingbacks today. If you're not playing a defensive midfielder I think it's a must we have 3 centre backs.
I think this is the formation that will suit most players. It also means Poch can use the diamond more effectively without lacking width.
Kane will drop into the point of the diamond with Alli and Sissoko pushing on from the pivots and Winks the deep lying midfielder.
The wingbacks really need to push on to make it work and Sanchez needs to be tidy on the ball as the most central defender.

Strong bench too. Moura deserves his start ahead of Son. All in all a well balanced team.

Because it doesn't work both Moura and Son drift central and clog Kane's space. I have been very disappointed with Son this season he hasn't stepped up then again most of the team has been pretty bad

Hoping it's 3421, but with only one decent passer on the pitch I fear it's going to be another difficult watch. Hopefully improved movement can make up for it.

For the purposes of assessing the state of the team and the probable press reaction, this game is a no-win situation. If we thrash them, everyone here and in the press will dismiss it because “Watford are shit”. Any other result will end in suicidal/homicidal threats here and mass gloating in the press.

I thought most people here want the non committed players to be casted out and play the kids..

I'm not confident today TBH.
