From what I've read he pretty much blamed himself for first half because of how he set us up so fingers crossed it's dead. I don't see who he benefits, maybe the second striker being central? but for key moments surely they can drift inside.
Yeah we had so many players in attacking positions today we didn't really need 2 central strikers. As you say hopefully he fucks it off.

After the weekends fixtures I noted the below.
1. How lucky liverpool are..every goalkeeper they gave seems to score a goal for them

2. Offside seriously needs to change to give the attacker the advantage again..not give him offside for his nail being offside

3. To our game..eriksen def made a difference when he came on..but before he did ndombele Made a huge difference in the 2nd half.. driving forward..passing etc..he can become sensational.

4. Kwp..how impressive..with getting games he will be our 1st choice RBS for years. I think he could have everything given time.

5. Vets.. how is he sitting in the stands and not Even on the bench when he is fit. I dont think we even concede that 1st goal if he was on the pitch

It's boring as shit sometimes. The guy who sits 2 seats from me and is a legit **** genuinely said "Poch might as well fuck off after this game, no idea how to manage a game" about 30 seconds before he brought on Eriksen which changed the game.

The old ****s who moan at everything might want to take a minute to remember just how many first team players were missing today.
Its no different than in here though, there's actually people who truly believe they know more, and could do a better job than Poch.
Its simply baffling.

Really can’t be fucked with it now. So many negative old ****s who slag players off constantly but don’t get behind the team.

I really wish some people could understand that this has become habitual for them and they don't enjoy it anymore. Just walk away for like 3-4 games maybe from one international break to the next and see if you truly miss it, It's meant to be entertainment and if it's having such a negative impact on you just fuck it off.

Not to mention corner kicks. We had about 15 and VILLA was closing scoring on the counter that we were at scoring on the corner kick ?
That actually highlights a big problem for us which was true last year also. We are no were near ruthless enough and quite poor in front of goal.

Poch hates discussing players that aren’t playing, always has. So whether Vertonghen had a slight knock or didn’t have a great pre-season, he won’t want to talk about it.
That’s why he was evasive in his press conference, he feels its unfair on the player that comes in.

If he’s not starting in the City game, then I will start to believe that something is wrong behind the scenes.

No way we get a result at the Etihad without Jan and Toby marshalling the back line.

Didn't get to watch live but just finished it up, such a shift/lift when Eriksen came on and dominant possession actually started to be converted into chances. Ndombele really opened up after scoring, he's going to be absolutely mint when he's really settled in. If we can keep playing like we did for the second half then we're going to have a great season.

Very happy with Ndombele’s first competitive match for Spurs. KWP gets a lot of slack but he held his own did not let Villa walk all over him. Hopefully it’s onwards and upwards for both of them and for Spurs. COYS

Eriksen is going to get a lot of plaudits--and rightfully so--but Ndombele played with some swagger and arrogance today. Damn entertaining to watch.
Anyone re-watching this game (and I assume the Spurs coaching staff do) will see how clearly Eriksen changed the game. Levy will be gambling with our chances of success this season if he sells him.
Levy never wanted to sell him.

That brace today takes Kane above Keano in the all time PL goal scorers list and level with Hasselbaink. There's a bit of a gap from them to the next player, van Persie, but if he has a decent season he could break into the top 10 with over 150 PL goals. Injury free, I think he can go on to break Shearer's all time record.

Shearer hasn't got an "all time record". Shearer hasn't got a record.

I was disappointed in Ndombele until he scored and then he seemed to come alive and start playing with confidence.

You can see why they signed Mings up. He headed every ball away this afternoon

I wonder if Mings is a reformed character or could he revert to his vicious side, like the Ibra and Oliviera incidents ? Maybe he has he changed for the good ?
