I like Conte’s post-match response to being asked why he didn’t start any new signings.
Basically said these guys got us champions league football and the new signings have to displace them. Sends the right message to the whole squad going forward.

Yeah and the other benefit is it boosts the confidence of Emerson and Sessegnon. Both have suffered due to lacking here.

One thing I noticed was more early aerial balls from the LCB to the RCB and vice versa, rather than two passes on the ground via the CB. Gave us more time and space to advance the ball once we'd switched sides.

Personally I love duel of fates but they should time it better, with the players running out as it plays (rather than after)

I will say, I was a bit disappointed at the stadium, in terms of quality.

The beer was a bit too fruity (lines needed cleaning) and I thought the concourse was looking a bit grubby. I got in early and there were loads of stains. Surprised a clean up job hadn’t taken place since Lada Gaga last week.

We were so professional today. Fans in the stadium were almost acting bored. Mind you game was sown up after the fourth. We should have had a penalty too
