Yes as well as the debut of many many more who never made the level. Kanes the exception not the rule.
The point of course, is that people like you would have decided he wasn't good enough then too. Skipp was literally out best midfielder before his injury and some of us have watched him throughout his journey through Spurs and every England youth team.

But of course, you write him off when he's trying to get form back after being injured for almost a year.

God I hate supporters sometimes

Bit harsh/negative.

Didn’t think it was THAT bad today compared to recently.

Kane wasn’t really sloppy he barley had the ball today but nice link up play as usual, sonny is doing his best playing with a mask on where he can barely see.

But yes Gil & Sarr very good ☑️
I think the reference to Kane was more last 10-15 minutes. Players had made the runs, but he misplaced quite a few passes towards the end which ended our for nter attack.

Normally I would have expected him to hit them with precision.

Should have had the second goal but 8 or 9 of those players wouldn't normally start a game, got the result credit where its due.

I didn't think it was that bad a game. I've seen plenty of poor third round games over the years. It wasn't a classic but decent enough.
Away from home maybe but at home v a third division side struggling with no manager. That was poor from us overall

For all the hype in this forum on Spence, he didn't make any meaningful impact on this game and certainly not enough to make Conte think again.

Selling Royal, loaning out Spence and bringing in a Porro with Doherty is the order of this window.
But Spence was told not to make an impact and play safe. Don't forget... ???

The only reason Sess is still at Spurs is because of his HG status. If he hadn't had that he would have been sold ages ago.

Cup games are all about the result. Not too bothered about the performance. It's always tough when you have 11 men behind the ball the entire 1st half.

MotM Gil for me. Always looks to make things happen and has seemingly limitless energy. The kind of player that can get you off your seat. Did it for the whole game. Kane great goal.

Sarr was rough the first 10-15 mins but grew into it well after that.
Spence's confidence is shot to shit and it showed.

Win was all that mattered, squad quality shows we still need an overhaul though.

Hopefully we get some in & out this window …
