I put on the hazards to let the eejit behind me know I was in bother - I was hard up against the ticket
controls and couldn't get out the car to tell that same twat who was blocking my reverse away from
the barrier and go to another adjacent sexist.

I try never to point out grammatical errors, TCO, but this made me fall off laughing! I just got this image of a row of sexists all waiting to render services! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

We never stopped going forward and made Palace look what they are - very ordinary. In another season they would be relegation candidates. They are very lucky there are several teams worse than them this season.

The match showed precisely why the second goal was key.
Palace did get a few moments towards the end, and we were fortunate there weren't many of them, but at 1-0, just such a nervy/unfortunate goal could have knocked the stuffing out of us and set a bad tone at NWHL.

I am glad I was wrong with my "prediction", although it was more of a "I've seen this happen before", more than a prediction, but it is imperative that we continue to create more chances and of course, take them. I am all for probing and patience and ball retention, but too often we are static and I put that down to missing that combination of Eriksen passing into a ghosting Dele.

Dele in midfield was ok last night, but it for me highlighted what we miss when we have Eriksen, Kane and Son as our front trio. We are too direct almost. By that I mean Son and Kane are runners with the ball, direct players and both require a degree of space in the middle. We saw that when we countered with these players we looked dangerous, but in normal build up play they were well covered.

Dele popping into the box, rather than being the passer, presents the opposition with real problems and for me had it been Eriksen passing into the box rather than being the one trying to be IN the box, I think we would have caused more issues.

Still.
Totally satisfied witht he performance over all and mightlily relieved to have a win, and the first win of NWHL. Hoping we turn it into a fortress, but that win certainly should help remove some of the nervousness going into the Home Leg of the UCL.

Haha no way. We could where I was.

Anyone over 45 shouldn't be allowed in the stadium.

You've already stolen our future with brexit and now you want to steal our fun.
Fu k off, I was supporting this club before you were out of nappies I was making more noise last night than the millinels on their bloody phones all night.
PS I love you really Riggi

Fair fucking play to Sissoko for not letting his head drop tonight after that miss vs Liverpool. The guy player out of his skin
Yet another MOTM performance from him according to Ally McCoist, I was out and about last night so had talksport commentary on and he was raving about him and did give him MOTM. Also must say watched 30 min highlights on sky last night and thought we looked really good, dominant.

I thought the piece before the teams came out was really good, but Glory Glory just didn't do it for me.
I think because they couldn't sing kings of White Hart Lane it had to be amended and that perhaps didn't have the flow of the original song.

You could feel how nervous everybody was, even after first goal. I thought getting a second would stop that but then even 2-0 up palace started to show a bit of fight finally and you could tell everybody deep down feared the worse.

Overall although the atmosphere went flat in places it is obvious it isn’t the grounds fault, unlike Wembley, us fans just need to get used to it.

I watched the game on tv and I can agree that there were moments where the fans were quiet but I think its because the tempo of the game was generally slow. Thats just the culture of supporting in England. And I love it (I'm not from England). The fans are always living the game. In germany you have drums all the time. Match started? Drums. Goal? Drums. Penalty? Drums. It is so fucking boring.
But generally when the fans were singing, the sound the stadium is making is fantastic. I'm pretty confident it will be much better in more entertaining games. If the team will put themselves up against City this place will be rocking.

Oh and I think fans that are in the south stand and are not singing should be banned. Tourists should not be allowed to go there. Of course except me.

I usually find Palace supporters inoffensive, but they pissed me off a bit today. It seemed they were determined to try and spoil our party. That's fair enough during the game - every team is going to try and be the first to beat us in our new gaff, but trying to drown out the opening ceremony was, I feel, not really cricket.
That fucking drum was doing my head in!! The avcoustics are so good it sounded like he was sitting behind me all night.

Fantastic defender no doubt. Is he good enough going forward for a more attacking team like us? Not so sure for the huge amount of £ it would cost to get him

He's a retrained winger, so he should be.

Spot on. It's going to be close. If we draw one of West Ham or Everton, I have C&A both finishing above us by a point :-/

Dumb points dropped in recent weeks from our poverties

Oh God, the thought of West Ham putting in their traditional cup final performance against us and depriving us of top four is too terrible to contemplate...

I know your only joking, but I think you’ve also hit on the problem. Thousands of people in that south stand would have bought season tickets and normal tickets knowing it is for making a racket, but they are only there for the atmosphere, and it doesn’t matter if they don’t contribute because it’s only them, and there exempt as they want to watch the game like it’s 4D television. Repeat that x1000 and you get modern stadiums.

What the F...?
Commentators saying that some people are leaving! They better be Palace.
Can't imagine any Yids not wanting to stay til they're kicked out.

When the second goal went in fans from both teams started leaving.

Happens every football match. Despite the occasion, they all went to avoid the heavy travel traffic. Sad but that is how it is.
I intermittently missed 5 of the last 10 minutes because of half the East Upper leaving.

Midweek evening game in London... its normal.
