I was quite glad we didn't score late in the first half because I was so desperate for the loo I thought I'd pee myself haha

Such a great game, one of the palace fans pissed me off overhead the twat saying "it's like playing in a neutral ground"

I loved the opening ceremony, the girl had a fantastic voice and it made me feel very emotional, can't wait for Tuesday now!

Looking at the back, they didnt include Janssen but included Omomah and Nkoudou on the teamsheet.

I thought we dominated that half, not sure why a few are moaning. Everyone trying to get the first goal isn't helping but im sure we will win 2- 0
You don't have Saturday's lottery numbers kicking about anywhere...?

I don't think we can drop more than 3points ROS if we want top 4. So anything at City is a bonus but I reckon we need to win the other 5.

Agreed, we probably do need to win the other five to be sure - which, given the opposition and the fact that four are at home, we should be able to achieve.

Having said that Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U will all drop more points too.

It could go right down to the wire though - by a point or even goal difference.

Spot on. It's going to be close. If we draw one of West Ham or Everton, I have C&A both finishing above us by a point :-/

Dumb points dropped in recent weeks from our poverties

I really loved the girl singing - like the actual song was great (not the rap part urgh) but she was hugely impressive...

Back in, and I think that being in the stadium for tonight's game just about shades seeing the Colin Calderwood that gave us a 1-0 win over Derby County in August 1997. Just.

Had an absolute nightmare evening.

Thought my journey to the game was quiet.

Stood outside the ground for 45 minutes before someone told me Spurs didn’t play at Wembley anymore.

I thought that young lass sung really well in the opening ceremony. At least it came across that way over the TV. I don't know what anyone was expecting from it, though? They had to cram something in like 5-10 minutes. Seeing a lot of cringe reactions, but the whole point is looking towards the future and having a school group perform was poignant to me. Also the guy who sung at the finale is only fitting to sing in the opener.

Suppose I'm in the minority.

She had some pipes on her for sure, but it was cringey. Made even more cringey when that soprano came on in an ill-fitted suit and it just sounded pompous on top. I think the look Danny gave says it all really.

Paxton need to raise their game. Was always loud early 90s
It suffered after it became a designated family stand. When I started going, though not particularly loud, there was the odd song but now a song is very rare.

Ultimately though it's great that the new stadium seems to replicate so much from the old one. From the north and west stand being quiet to lots of early leavers trying to beat the traffic.

Even the football felt more like white heart lane. We played well.

Probably sounds stupid, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's why Poch (according to itk) is so keen on him. I can imagine Poch knows there's a real player in there, then getting inside Zaha's head to bring it out.
TBF Zaha has showed himself to be a top player for some time now. In a better team he could really shine. Not much to uncover he just needs to decide if he is comfortable being the main man at a club that loves him or if he wants to take a step up to show his talent to the world. Can understand both opinions. But there is nothing to untap he already is a great player who needs to score and assist more but that will happen at a club which has a bit more of the ball!

I was in North lower block 112 and we gave it a decent go with the singing. South will always lead the way ;)

what I will say though is from about 65 mins it started getting flat as I think the nerves were starting to kick in. I'm hoping that now we have our first win we can relax a little.....doubt it though as we must win all our games to be certain on CL ?

Fantastic defender no doubt. Is he good enough going forward for a more attacking team like us? Not so sure for the huge amount of £ it would cost to get him
I think he has demonstrated plenty of attacking qualities this season. Very good dribbler and quite quick. He would be a good option and I'd be down for it. The arguement against is that in youth level kwp was no worse that wan-bissaka so I doubt KWP would be too happy, though I'm not entirely convinced he's ready.

I'd love to get WB in and have him and Aurier for next season put KWP on loan, build his confidence get him back in and have WB and KWP fight it out for a starting spot two seasons from now.
