I think Skipp's ceiling is a lot higher than Winks'.

He's better defensively - both reads the game better and is more tenacious and good in the tackle - but is also braver and more direct with his passes going forward.

I know it's just Norwich, but simply having a tenacious hard worker covering the space and putting in tackles is making a big difference. I hope this match is his breakthrough under Jose.

Skipp has made a couple of good tackles in areas that we don’t usually have anyone tackling.

Jonathan Walters looks a lot better since his playing days.

Just showed my girlfriend a picture of him in Stoke colours with a skin head and she's absolutely adamant BBC have the wrong name and that's a different person!

I wonder how many people's perception of that half are coloured by the very norwich cheerleading commentary.

We should be at very least 2 up.
We've been fine bar that 5 or so minutes where the ball kept coming back. The opening 30 Norwich weren't at the races. People are just happy to keep rolling our rubbish to suit.

Warnock is fucking boring to listen to. He's no better than those on here and he's at the game.

That moura fuck gets worse every time you watch it. Was no way he could have scored from that angle and the pass to Dele was so easy to make. Such a frustrating player

Bugger all comms or chemistry between Dele and Lucas and Gio and Steve Bergwijn either. It'll click into place but this season.... Jeeeez, I can't see us doing much.

Just seen that Moura/Dele chance at the end - Jesus, that's so damn selfish from Moura there.

Should definitely have been 2.

To be fair to Dele should have had 2 goals if players had passed to him.

He looks like a less exotic Lo Celso

Decent game of football. The score could be anything from 2-0 either way, depending on finishing.

Lo Celso and Skipp have been excellent - I'm not sure why Mourinho isn't "seeing" Skipp, he's become a very good footballer, without flair, but always effective.

We're having a conspicuous problem getting men into the box, which isn't surprising in the context of Kane and Son being missing, but it's especially obvious tonight because we're sitting deep. The one time Dele was poised to attack the space, Lo Celso passed wide to a player who wasn't there!

The defence went through one of our compulsory periods of 7-8 minutes when they play with collective panic and can't get themselves organised. It seems to happen every match and that's what's costing us points, such as against Wolves. This time, we didn't concede, more through luck than judgment.

There's been a great deal of fine midfield play from both sides (Buendia is a lovely footballer), but you can see that Norwich lack a lethal striker and that Spurs have two crocked ones.

yep. if Warnock was on radio comms, you’d believe we were piss in that half, and Norwich were the second coming.

That first half has really shown me how much stock to put in the SC match threads at the moment.
I logged on and couldn't believe some of the comments, I don't think some of those posting are actually watching. Eye of the beholder.

I've been really underwhelmed by Lucas for sometime.

Not a good enough starter for us when everyone is fit, that's for sure.
I've been underwhelmed with him since we signed him, he has no footballing brain, his touch is shit and loses the ball all the time.
Reminds me of Theo Walcott.
