I agree. I don't want to focus on negatives because we won 4-0 - that's more than we've had to be happy about all year but I do hope people are consistent with of their predictable berating of our players.

even though we won 4-0 and its was an overall great team effort, it seems to some clowns your not allowed to mention that one of our top players was below par.

you are only allowed to berate jenas, bentley, bent anything else is seen as being negative:)

There seems to be a middle order collapse, 7th might (big MIGHT) be do-able.

Yes, there's going to be a lot of draws on the card. Still, crazier things have happened. Would be nice for us to maintain the possibility of doing it, what with our rather lower expectations since the start of the season.

Safety is the priority though. Fortunately, both aims require us to win games.

You forgot Zok who also seems a hate figure to many but who once again gave a very solid performance tonight and seems to get better with every game.

Hopefully more people will understand why we re-signed Keane now.

Thommo said there that Palacious was fantastic. Was he watchin the same game as some of you lot?

Palacious was fantastic - sure he gave the ball away a couple of times but the majority of his passes were simple and effective and he made some great tackles again.

Jenas was very good aswell, pretty much the same deal. Couple of sloppy passes but excellent defensively and great energy.

I thought Palacios had a good game and the only poor points were a couple of sloppy passes but everyone did that at times.

SHIT! who like me didn't realize that Hull won in the 90th minute!

Yeah, well annoying. Would have had us go 12th, which to me would look very nice indeed, especially with a winnable game in hand.

Don't talk like that or he'll be hated within days.

Zokora's passing is simple and effective. Look where it got him? He's SC's hate figure.

Don't want to be negative but Palacios was not fantastic.

But for the rest, great to win a cynical game, by which I mean we put away every chance we should have - which is what winning teams do.

And Lennon was brilliant, beautiful to watch, even my trophy wife said so, usually she couldn't care less!

But my god Mboro were rubbish. I found myself imagining how it must feel to support them - it's bad enough supporting our lot sometimes but I really feel for those poor bastards who have to try to put a positive spin on the catastrophe that Mboro played tonight (and I guess that it's not the first time)

I didn't think Palacios was poor tonight. Overall he does a very effective job for us. But other games he has been top class.

Why did we buy Chimbonda when Zokora plays so well at right back?

Modric and Lennon are top drawer and Harry had certainly turned Dawson aroun as he looks a strong centre half.

I like the fact that Harry is picking more or less the same team now with plenty of options in reserve.

Going out of the UEFA I think is a blessing in disguise as we can now look forward. Hope we get a good result against Sunderland.

This is what I'm trying to say.

However I think you've been hard on Palacios (much the same as people are usually hard on Jenas) It wasn't a totally unflawed performance and he gave the ball away a few times, but we still bossed the midfield and that was down to him and Jenas.

Couldn't quite believe we were 2-0 up looking at the clock as boro had started very well. Palacios is so important with his tackling although there were a few sloppy passes. As for Lennon, what a game, he is back to the form that got him to the world cup. The football played for his first goal and our 3rd was fantastic

I think he's playing better football to be honest, his all round game is much improved, he tracks back better than alot of so called prem class defenders and his final ball is getting better tonight he put in some great crosses we just lacked the urgency to get on them.
