Mourinho pretty much announced this. He scarcely mentions Ndombele without pointing out that some players take longer to accustom their fitness to the English game than others - most recently in contrasting him with Lo Celso.

Yeah, guess you’re right. It’s just that he was on the bench for our last three games, and I’d have expected that he would have been match fit by now.

The one particular diff between Jose and Poch, that I like, is that Jose is willing to give playing time to new players, even if it’s their first game after joining us.

Since he’s been here, we bought two players and both get playing time in their first game after joining the club.

Any ITK on JMs thoughts about Ndomble? Starting to feel we are about to witness Pogba mark II

Think it's the right call Tanguy from the bench. Been out for a while with a bad injury to recover from. City are not the team to start a game against when recovering from a groin injury.

Happy with the team overall, lots of pace in the front 3 and City's defence can be got at.

Not sure about Tanganga LB but if Mahrez or Bernardo are there then it makes sense. Other than that happy with the team really. Clear threat on the counter and enough footballers out there to retain the ball a bit. I'm confident.

Hopefully going against a winger that cuts insides makes it a more comfortable afternoon than facing that watford winger.

You mean to tell me Bergwijn doesn’t need to adjust to a new league, a new country, to the training, to our ‘methods’ or to having ketchup instead of mayo on his chips?! I’m stunned

It's refreshing not to have to wait months to see new players.

He hasn’t been injured multiple times this season like Tanguy has

Who was Jose to drop Winks or Lo Celso?

Ndombele needs to earn a place in this team.

Ndombele is one of the youngest players in the team and the highest paid with Kane.

Jose is managing the situation.

The injuries are a factor but also a smokescreen.

Boy needs to earn it evidently.

They’ll cut in and JT is right footed so can cover that.
