This. We've lacked a proper leader for so long. Dier probably the closest we've got out there, but he's not at the level we need.

We can't control games.

When we win the ball in our own half we always go for the direct ball towards Kane (sometimes Richarlison). And they're isolated and surrounded by 3-4 opponents. So we lose the ball.

Conte needs to change something in his tactics or we will drop a lot of points. Sometimes it would be better to play it shorter, push up the team and have some control. There's no variation in our attacking patterns.

Is it me or does there seem to be more hesitancy and confusion about individual jobs of late? Players being played out of position exhibiting a lack of confidence in other players, rather than change the system to suit.
