Which goal? The only one that could be close to offside was the first goal but son was in his own half for the first ball and kane wasn't interfering with play

He was talking about the 2nd goal.

Im not sure I would expect to not be under pressure for long periods against a side that are above us in the table and been playing much better football than us all season.

Given that three perfectly executed sucker punches off the ropes would be the optimal first half performance.

I agree, but we didn't help ourselves in that first half.

We still take too many touches in our defence. Makes me nervous.

I notice we completed those counter attacks in the first half because sissoko wasn’t involved. Whenever he is you just know the decision making will be poor.

I like Lo Celso, but he really needs to use his right foot now and again. No need to always try again get it on his left in tight spaces every time.

We’re drawing plenty of fouls. Surely he has to get the cards out

If all we want is to win and not care about the football then why not buy a 2 headed coin and toss it calling heads. The trouble with how we play is that if we do concede and the other team sits back we have no game plan.

I know what you mean. The tactic always frightens me because it always feels like we’re on the back foot and if we do go a goal down then counter attacking opportunities diminish and I’m not convinced we can switch it up as necessary. Still,we look like we’re becoming more familiar with the system and if we continue this into the new season, with a few additions, then maybe there is still a place for Jose-ball.
