I freely admit many on here understand tactics better than me, so - genuine me question - can someone please explain what we're trying to do in possession, other than break? I just don't get it.
Our main option is to play on the counter but in possession we try to switch wings quickly to open crossing chances. The problem has been poor switches (Kane had a few balls blocked he normally makes look easy) and our crosses have been poor.

Lo Celso is playing too wide to be effective & N'Dombele looks so cumbersome on the ball which we can't keep. Add into that a stupid Aurier & it's no wonder we're behind.

Leave gio and Ndombele on, we just need another wide player ahead of them. We were not playing to their strengths that half. Sissoko is the clear and obvious sub.

Classic Sissoko and Aurier pairing up mistakes on the right.
Terrible half hearted ‘jump’ for Sissoko
And just new level dumb for Aurier. SA does not think.
Another costly mistake in the area of the pitch.
How many goals have we conceded from free kicks given away in that RB position?

That aside the football from us today has been terrible, slow, blunt, casual.

Leicester literally sit back and pump balls into space for Vardy and Barnes to counter attack with.

Therefore why the fuck are we sitting back waiting for them to make a mistake?

We’re boring and predictable. It’s taken teams a month to work us out.

Need to get a winger on, Lo Celso playing on the wing hasn’t worked & Jose needs to accept he got it wrong & change early

Just for a change, I’d like to see us come flying out of the blocks second half with lots of intensity and pressing and moving the ball quickly. Just really going for it. Feels like an age since I’ve seen that, must have been 2017.

This is rubbish and boring.

Don't understand this win at all costs mentality that has contaminated our club.

It's like selling your soul to the devil.

There’s nothing wrong with win at all costs, as long as you win. If you’re playing dull football and not winning it can go to bits very quickly. It’s a high risk approach.

Leicester will sit on this and probably pick us off as we finally try to push on. If ever we needed a Bale thunderbolt this season it’s today. Get the lad on, nothing to lose.

Whats happened to our attacking. Its fallen off a fucking cliff.

Our attacking relies on Kane and Son. When one or both of them are a bit off it/tired etc then we don’t have another threat.

This seems to be the result of 3 tough league games in a row. At least in the cup we could rest players but not in the league. We look incredibly tired so far. Slowly growing into it though but really need to tidy things up on the ball.

When the going gets tough, Spurs fuck off home ?
