Absolutely fascinating, absorbing half. Enjoyable football all around. Dortmund have had the better of it, but that's because they're fucking good and they have Jadon Sancho, who is plainly the best player on the pitch. But we've played well, except for a 10-minute spell in the middle of the half when we stopped pressing and couldn't get the ball.

Watching Juan Foyth is also fascinating. He's just a gigantic talent, with real vision, playing psychic back-heels out of defence to relieve pressure and attacking down the right like a fullback. But he's naive and he makes potentially expensive mistakes.

Our key player tonight, as I suggested earlier, is Winks, because there's no one else in the 11 who can control tempo and possession and prevent Dortmund from passing and moving all around us. Sissoko has been OK, but isn't dominating, because the movement in Dortmund's midfield is too good for him to intimidate them.

Son needs to be closer to the box. On two occasions, Winks has put through not-well-weighted through balls, but I have to think that there have been other occasions when those opportunities might have been available, had we have someone, anyone attacking the space in front of the goalkeeper.

Lloris has been excellent again.
Foyth is a proper footballer, the padawan to Obi-Jan.

I think we have done well against a very good team. Although they have created chances and had a fair bit of the ball we have coped ok. Our final ball needs to be better and Son along with Lucas need to be making better runs in and around the box. I would settle for 0-0, no away goal but I fancy us now for a 1 or 2 nil win. COYS.

Interesting to see them pressure Foyth every time he gets the ball. It's giving me heart issues but I think it'll be great for his development.

When you only buy bargain bucket players, you end up with Lucas and Aurier.
I rate Moura, I think poch should use him from deep more in a 433. He's lethal driving from a deeper position - turns defences, causes panic and usually wins freekicks and can positively drive our game.

Is tigerish, strong, for his size, good at nicking the ball, willing to track back and defend and can leap higher than any other player I've seen who is his height.

There a few things poch can do to tweak the best out of some players but he's not venturing.
