Positive things from the first half:

- I found some leftover shortbread from Xmas
- Sarr didn't look too shabby
- PEH's pointing game was on point
- We conceded 1 less goal than I thought we would
- Son conserved almost all of his energy for the 2nd half
- Sess showed the Make-a-Wish foundation that one's dreams can come true... regardless of ability.
Best news we have had this whole fucking year.

Straight away we need to lose a CB and get on an extra body in midfield. If we're still losing on 75 minutes then lose one of the midfielders and drop Kane deeper to play ACM and get Richarlison on.

Patterns patterns patterns, zone zone zone, you should be here when ball is here in this phase... blah blah blah. No freedom no creativity, its just robotic rigid shit tactics. There is no glory to be had in Conte's football. Id be okay with the defensive side of his tactics if he allowed freedom in attack.

We’re being outnumbered all over again he pitch. We seem caught between two stools; low block or high press and are doing neither.
Thought was pretty even until Lloris had his big game nightmare. That dented our confidence and boosted theirs and they took over.

This team still looks so far from a Conte team. Only a takeover can build it. The whole backline with the exception of Romero needs replacing. So tired seeing these same players let us down. We're not getting anywhere starting Lloris, Dier, Lenglet, Sess and Doherty.

We're just spinning our wheels as a club now. This is it for us under ENIC. We've made massive progress under them but the ceiling has been reached.

Doesn't help being in the most stacked league on Earth but eh, it is what it is.

Lloris and Sessengon costing us, who would have predicted it? Conte will fall on his sword, but let's face it most of our squad is toilet. We have maybe 5 or 6 players on the pitch who wouldn't look out of place playing in the championship.

I don’t get paid to scout or coach football, but even I know Arsenal use Zinchenko as a tucked in LB to allow them to have essentially a 4 man CM. If I can notice that, why can’t spurs?

Before the game started it was clear we’d get completely overrun in CM.

Every time saka gets the ball he takes players on with 3 or 4 targets in the middle. When we're attacking down the wings, there's barely even a player heading into the box?
