Like most, I’m always extremely nervous ahead of a NLD. But I have a heightened sense of dread about the game tomorrow afternoon. I obviously hope it doesn’t happen but I think it is very feasible that the goons can put 2 or 3 past us. If they embarrass us tomorrow and then go out and drop 80m on this boy Mudryk next week, then I think things will turn very ugly very quickly for our owners. I don’t want any of our players being booed or jeered during a game, but I have absolutely no problem with our fan base making it abundantly clear to Danny & Joe that they are no longer welcome at our club. I think it could well be a very interesting couple of weeks until the window closes for our entire club.

We look better lately, with two clean sheets in a row - which is key. Arsenal are not in the greatest of shapes. We get key players back, while they miss their starting CF. Home advantage is the great equalizer in NLDs. Stopping them from winning the title is the best motivation. Why would anyone expect them to walk all over us? I really don't understand the negativity and pessimism. I certainly don't think we'll lose. Hopefully the crowd will give the team a lift. Not a day for toxicity, this.

Btw Mudryk Is poor and splashing almost nine figures for this guy is folly. Spending money for the sake of spending money, like many Spurs fans seem to demand, is not going to get us anywhere.

Yep, tomorrow is going to be toxic, isn’t it ?
Just hoping that Bentan/Rich will be on the bench.

This might be one of the worst derby matches in years. One team with a clear momentum, clear playing philosophy, getting the best out of players and playing on the front foot. Contrast with a predictable side who have no discernible game plan, give the initiative to the opponents and play everyone out of position. This could be 3/4-0
You could have just said "Conte vs Arteta" we'd have got the jist.

Certainly won’t be toxic early doors.
We will make it as hostile as possible and be right behind the team.
If it turns south on the pitch though and we are behind and playing shit (so more than likely) , it will I am sure though.
Lot I go with are planning on being in pubs around Bruce Grove by 11, so this is serious stuff

They are notorious fast starters this season & we are the opposite. Have to weather the early storm ⛈️

Can't see anything other than a goons win. The way we play just invites confident teams on and gives them even more confidence. In the days of old when we were shit and they were great we would at least go out and compete in the early stages.

We'll sit off of them tomorrow and they'll just dominate the game. If they score early, it could get nasty quickly.

Won't be watching but obviously hoping we can do something or at least play well.

I haven’t seen a lot of this Mudryk fella other than the game against Celtic in the CL earlier this season but I have to say that he was mustard that night and I thought he looked a real prospect. But yeah, 80m is a bit of a punt alright.

That’s a bit harsh on Arsenal. I think they’ve been playing quite well this season.

Let’s not forget that Conte has had a week of preparation for this game. As we saw at the end of last season we are a different beast when Conte has a week to plan.

Can't stress this enough. We cannot let win Arsenal tomorrow. They have to be pulled back. I would even settle for a point now, if it means Arsenal momentum is stopped.

On other hand, if we do win, then this could be spring board for us to keep pushing.

First goal important. Craig Pawson is ref and he hates us. I already see him waving yellows for our us at a faster pace and stop us. We need to keep calm and be in the game.

We have what it takes to hurt Arsenal but we got to be clever tomorrow with a biased ref against us

As other people have said, they notoriously start fast and we notoriously start very slow. We could be well beaten by half time. I’m not even scared of it happening either, I actually expect it these days.
Failing that we’ll be solid for 60 mins and then the defence/Lloris will have a howler. Standard big match Spurs.

I’ll do my usual NLD routine. Be near the ground at least 3hrs before kickoff. Try not to get involved in any pre-match score prediction chitchat. Take my seat 30-minutes before kickoff to see how the teams are warming up and what combo attacking plays they are attempting. Get worked up until kickoff and then start panicking when the game starts ?
