I've been watching the coverage and it was hard to believe that Arsenal weren't playing their U18 team. Every Spurs player looked physically bigger and stronger than his opponent. That's an image I want Arsenal to take home with them!

Smart performance, outworked and outclassed them as they lost their heads, and we seized the moment and killed the game when it was there to be done.

A good night for bragging rights, but it is only a third of the job done. Everybody - team and fans - need to be as up and raring to go for a noon kickoff on Sunday against Burnley as they were tonight. This was just the start, we need two more performances and wins, take care of our business, and see how things ultimately pan out.

I’ll be honest that first 5-10 minutes worried me, Sanchez and Royal clumsily smashing it at each other under pressure, my b-hole was pouting.

Of course the red card helped but once we settled we smeared them all over the pitch, lovely to watch.
