Watch any interaction with him and the players on the training pitch and its clear that he is perfectly understood. He is doing what is right by the club, not what is right by the press, and its refreshing !

After Redknapp and Sherwood, it's quite nice to have a manager who keeps his counsel.

He treats press conferences for exactly what they are. He isn't auditioning for a pundits job or trying to get a tabloid newspaper column.

I used to enjoy their press conferences, they were entertaining and informative. With this guy my attention wanders somewhat.

I wish it was more obvious that he was getting his message across when the players were on the pitch.

We've got multiple evidence from players that they like his training methods so the notion of language barrier, not getting his message across is way overcooked.
My English is not perfect but I understand what he wants to say. Football coach does not have to be eloquent as a preacher to make himself clear.
