couple of observations ....
has his English got worse?
no mention of a DM all which I just find bizarre for such a gaping omission in our squad and this Clinton from Lyon
looks like being the one and only striking addition which again I find bizarre

He doesn't give away anything in the press. And made no mention Clinton is the only fwrd coming in. Don't listen to these conferences as anything but managers talking to the press. Poch is great at keeping hush hush

He didn't quite say that. Commentator said are you still looking for a centre fwrd and he said yes this is true. Probably isn't talking about Clinton

Perhaps he's hard of hearing, but after this long in England I'm surprised to see him struggling with some of those questions.

Re Poch English. I wonder how he gets his message across in the training or more to the point in the dressing room.

I think players often understand what is being said even if their spoken English is not so good but there is English and there is football English where a lot of words are not what one would learn if taking English lessons even conversational English.

And the Spanish accent when listening to someone of that background speak English is difficult to follow. Must be an added issue.

Lets hope his English is better with the players than with the press, that was painful to watch!

He just got some weird questions and made sure he fully understood before answering. I don't see any problems.

He doesn't want to give away any strategic info about our transfer dealings.
And he is very polite to say :We don't comment on rumours.
I felt his mind was on preparation for next game , not on satisfying the press pack.
He is more comfortable on the training pitch with players I believe.

After Redknapp and Sherwood, it's quite nice to have a manager who keeps his counsel.

I think he plays up the whole 'que¿' thing a but for the press. They've bigger fish to fry so won't start a ruck over it.
