Nice work Punky! Thanks.

Strange how given that we have a much larger and more national fanbase than Man City AND our stadium is much too small to meet demand, we were shown less often. Add to that the fact that Reknapp's brand of football is much more entertaining than Mancini's more cautious approach.

It's phenomenal that Liverpool were shown only 3 times less than Manure and more often than Arse and Chavksi despite the fact that they have had a, relatively speaking, poor decade.

I can't imagine how well we'd be if we had a bigger stadium. I mean we've attracted great players already and paying them quite a low salary compare to other top 1-6 teams.

Once we get the new stadium we can pay the high wages and top players would start flooding in - if we continue to progress like we have. If we get 2 strikers and 1 GK then I'm sure we'll challenge for 2-4th, but if we don't then I'm afraid we might end up 5th-6th again. Unless our strikers kick into gear...

To be fair I think our last few seasons we've had a good allocation (I can't prove this as I've tried googling and can't find it) though it might have been between 4th-6th most which would have reflected our average finish.

It should be a combination of league finishes, fan base, quality of football/fair play score and involvment in a battle (Title, CL, relegation etc.) but it does seem like Liverpool's is unduly high in a season when it was only the last couple of games that they looked like they might scrape in to the Europa

I love the "well then lets blow it all on strikers" type comments

It's not as if this is a one off windfall that's over and above our typical income. Do people think that all of a sudden we have an extra £53m to spend on players?

We get this every year (more or less) and still only just make a profit. Also worth noting that I doubt it's a one off payment - it'll come periodically, probably on a monthly basis
