That reason would be licensing and intellectual property laws.
Anyone would try to wet their toothbrush before putting toothpaste on it?
Some first thoughts, probably none of them that original....a bit like All or Nothing.....Boom!! Boom!
* first episode quite dull and a bit end of season DVD about it.
* really disappointed that Pochettino was a 15 minute footnote to the season. Huge moment for all of us, but nothing from Amazon, really wanted to see a Poch team talk, Poch training, talking to players etc, and there was nothing really, so that part of the story is not told at all. I am going to guess Poch had told the Amazon people where they could stick their cameras
* Levy clearly negotiated a lot of control on access, it’s pure PR any scene that involves him. I mean, going on about how he passionately cares about the neighbourhood, which I guess explains why he was trying to move us to Stratford
* I am going to guess the total absence of key characters like Hugo or Ndombele is because they will feature more later on....if not...just weird.
* it isn’t going to be a “documentary“ as traditionally understood is it. I mean it isn’t an in-depth investigation to what happened during this season
* mourinho telling Harry he will make him more of a celebrity basically. Which has synergy with the Amazon focus on him as “leader”.
* the Man Utd game post game meeting. Harry sounds off about other players not trying hard enough....and then they don’t show what other players said in response to that comment. Gives the whole doc a sanitised airbrushed feel. It’s not even half the story a lot of the time
* maybe not surprising but Mourinho is a powerful character and a big personality. Noting that he keeps telling players to play and express themselves...and also talks a lot about clean sheets...clearly a lot of our players were uncertain how to do both
* I thought the Dele nagging KWP on the plane after pranging into KWP’s car was maybe a bit more significant than it seemed. Hinting at problems in terms of squad unity
* Vertonghen veering toward an existential crisis made me feel very sad!
* Mourinho telling the players to be c***s, Son clearly pondering this instruction a lot, and then applying the learning by getting sent off for handbags against Chelea (of course not a word from Amazon about rudigdr and all the fall out from that game)
* I find it all fascinating.but then I am a Spurs fan, not sure this will be a ‘must see’ for fans of other teams
* Sunderland till I die still the best of these types of series
I'm with Dele on this one.Anyone would try to wet their toothbrush before putting toothpaste on it?
Pretty sure José had Peppa Pig on. The amount of times I turn off the telly in exactly the same way any given day...

When he walks into his office SSN is clearly on the tv but believe what you want
The Dier section killed me, to lead into it with Jose saying Dier is the only one in the squad with any fight, how he had tried to sign him before and then to crush him by dragging him off after 30mins.
Seeing the whole squad celebrating and congratulating each other on the comeback while in the background Dier is wallowing in internalised rage and self pity was tough to watch.
I’m surprised how passive they all are in 1:1 meetings with Jose.
It really kick starts the foaming agent, you'll feel like a rabid dog.I don't put water after putting toothpaste. I am dirty.
It's good how they try to create an atmosphere by having the cleaners look like they are all sullenly cleaning the managers office ready for Jose's arrival...his crates can already be seen in the corner.
But I guess that's silly to suggest that bit was staged and for the cameras. Probably just "slightly edited".

The show’s producers were on The Fighting Cock last week and said a lot of the indoor scenes used tiny cameras that were very easy for the players and staff to forget were even there. Heavily edited, sure, but I reckon most of the fly-on-the-wall type stuff is genuine.

I hadn't spotted the crates but my wife did. It's good how they try to create an atmosphere by having the cleaners look like they are all sullenly cleaning the managers office ready for Jose's arrival...his crates can already be seen in the corner.
