Exactly, and more importantly, I think after this second half of this season he has truely found out he himself that he has much to learn.

The best place for him to that is at Spurs right now where he doesn't have to prove as much. He's well respected and highly thought of here, he doesn't want to move to another club and 'do a Torres' in terms of performances, he'd be under too much pressure for a young player.

Bale has years left of his career and if he proves to be a consistent talent then I think he will easily be able to sign for a CL club (assuming we aren't) in the years to come, so for the reason above all I don't think there is any need for him to rush to join a CL club and it will probably suit his progress more to have one or two more seasons with us.
