That far back to culminate in today ... Thanks for losing us everything ever Sissoko.Even further. Todays result had its seeds in the actual signing of Sissoko
On today's viewing, this could be quite easy.I know you're itching to pull the trigger on Lamela.
People are moaning about Son being taken off, and to be honest I would have brought on Lamela for Sissoko, but he wasn't at his best and it usually means he's not going to impact on the game.He is not fucking awful.
Lamela missed a better chance and gave the ball away constantly as well but he seems to get a free pass.
I know sissoko has his faults but he also has some very good parts to his game, as does lamela.
It was an average performance by the whole team so let’s not put the whole blame at sc favourite scapegoat please
It wasn’t a great team performance but it rarely is when Sissoko and Dier are in the same midfield. You’re just a typical enabler. If you don’t think Sissoko isn’t good enough for a top 4 or title challenging or champions league challenging team, I’m not sure you actually want the best for the Club.
Worse than Soldado or Janssen? We actually spent £30m on him. That’s crazy. We are usually quite good with money but that has to go down as one of the worst purchases of recent times.
And round and round the wheel he ran.We actually spent £30m on him. That’s crazy. We are usually quite good with money but that has to go down as one of the worst purchases of recent times.
He doesn't do social media like Soldado.Worse than Soldado or Janssen?
IDK what Lamela is supposed to do. He was out for 14 months and gets the occasional 15-20 minutes at the end of games to re-find his form. It's predictable he's looked mediocre so far. Meanwhile Alli could throw on an opposing team kit and start scoring own goals and all Poch would do is talk about the greatness of Dele. It's infuriating.I know you're itching to pull the trigger on Lamela.
winks is a squad option. Lamela. Decent bloody footballers. And your a typical cry baby when things don’t go your way.
Sissoko is a squad player, he only played because eriksen was ill.
Other top team have a drop in quality when their top players are out too you know
Is Sissoko somehow responsible for your existence? Damn the man to Hell!!We actually spent £30m on him. That’s crazy. We are usually quite good with money but that has to go down as one of the worst purchases of recent times.
I think he's OK, I think he's inconsistent, and I think he plays because he can drive the play forward.
Yep. Janssen was half the price and a young player with potential. Soldado was a very good striker who joined when we have about five defensive mods and one creative mid. He was starved of service and completely lost all confidence.Worse than Soldado or Janssen?
The trouble is, that’s not true is it. He’s played in most of our games this season, we haven’t been shite in all of them. We even beat Real Madrid with him in the team. Yet whenever we do play badly, he gets the blame. It was the same with Ade, Paulinho, and Jenas.
I know what you mean. We need to get him jumping up and down like Conte. One thing strikes me, Poch is way too passive during our games. I think he's great at bullding a team with fit players. And there's nothing wrong with his philosphy or whatever we should call it. It has transformed us from a mid table team to a top team. But I feel that he's way to confident in his philosophy, which makes him passive during our games. Even when we play bad. Very often, his subsitutions has been a reaction of our opponent scoring a goal. Today, after 55 minutes, when a Southampton player was injured, he had the chance to gather the players and give instructions or change something. But he didn't. He just sat there and did nothing. He's way to passive and sometimes it feels like he has no plan B. Maybe I'm too harsh, because I love Poch. But this is the way I feel.
I hope the others will read this and think about what you've written, but that's being overly optimistic. When he's allowed to drive forward on the break - when we play a back 3 and on the counter - he's clearly more effective and dangerous and its easier to see what his worth is to Poch.
In the 4-2-3-1 he's neither a DM nor an AM and its harder to see what the role is he's doing that Poch sees enough to use him over and over. It's mainly a risk free and non-progressive role to allow Son/All/Eriksen to commit totally to attack.
But it's hard to try and work these things out. Particularly as he's never trying the exciting thing. So its just easier for the spittle flecked hate merchants and doom mongerers to follow the herd of sheep and bleat about him non-stop.
If it wasn't him they'd find someone to else to blame for their own inability to understand what the coach is doing - or Spurs inability to buy the world.
Anyway - fully fit squad and its not an issue.
Fuck you going on about man? Sissoko is shit and you’re just chatting it.I dunno, am I an admin or not?
16th August 1989. That was the day todays own goal was born. Coincidentally, it was also the day Sissoko was born. Now if only Mr Sissoko hadn't given Mrs Sissoko the big one nine months earlier, we might not have conceded today. So, to put this to bed, todays own goal is actually Mr Sissoko's fault for not shooting him across his mothers arse that fateful night instead of leaving it in.
He doesn't try the exciting things as he's aware of his limitations and he lacks confidence. I was flabbergasted when Wanyama tried a shot given his radar is set to NFL.When he's allowed to drive forward on the break - when we play a back 3 and on the counter - he's clearly more effective and dangerous and its easier to see what his worth is to Poch.

So what *does* he do in the 4-2-3-1? Genuine question, because I can't work it out. When he's allowed to drive forward on the break - when we play a back 3 and on the counter - he's clearly more effective and dangerous and its easier to see what his worth is to Poch.
