Apart from Ade, you have to say that Bentaleb, Eriksen and Chadli looks great today. With Jan at the back and Sandro in there we've got a chance to claw our way to the top 4

First part makes zero sense.
Why? I'm saying that if AVB had put out a team today that came away with a win, it wouldn't have been by more than the one goal margin that Sherwood achieved: either 0-1 or 1-2 IMO. You don't have to agree, but what's not to understand?

The players were defo playing for Tim today too, maybe we should give him the rest of the season at least and see what he can do.

Is it any coincidence that when we play our best attacking players (Eriksen, Soldado, Lamela, Adebayor) that we win?

AVB hadn't started Eriksen, Soldado and Lamela together all season and Adebayor had only played on half of football. Like I said a while back, his personnel decisions cost him his job and rightfully so.
Id like to think that was a Sherwood masterstroke...

But with Townsend and Lennon injured i can't be sure.

Still a lucky manager is worth his weight in gold.

A great improvement to the way we played, same players but a positive manager at the helm. Well done Tim Sherwood and CO. Adebayor deserved MOTM.

What is this excitement sensation I was feeling?

a good team would have cut us to ribbons but fair play to Sherwood. Big win.

bentaleb looked promising.
Bollocks. We have been struggling against shit teams this season, and Southampton aren't shit - they're a GOOD TEAM and we beat them at their ground and should've beaten them by more if chances were taken and we hadn't made a few defensive and comms errors at the back.

Since when was Bentaleb so good? Controlled the middle of the field when he came on, and made Dembélé look like a chump.

If ever a quote sums up a Spurs fan - complimenting one player while ****ing off another.

Dembele was trying to do 3 men's jobs. Benteleb was excellent though the Southampton team were tiring and behind when he came on. Can't compare the 2 on one game.

First part makes zero sense.

AVB's away record was great, but he never got it right at home. Add to that a poor to terrible record, this season, against the rest of the top 6 and he was a goner. I was impressed with some of the football today, but I can't believe if we give Sherwood a ten year contract, he'll be subbing a striker with another striker when we're one goal up away from home with five minutes to go.

Who would have thought what a difference picking your best attacking players and getting bodies in the box would make to our offensive play.

Its fucking revolutionary.
