Awful news. Even if he doesn't have a brilliant game, he offers so much to team balance. Hope he comes back soon.

Hideous news. Basically hitting an injury crisis that's going to exhaust the players that are fit.

Has it been confirmed its a muscular injury? If that's the case at least it wasn't any broken bones which would of been disastrous.

I suppose he'll get a rest over the International break but I'll be gutted if he isn't back for the Liverpool game.

Christ once we get a player who hits the ground running & this - he'll disappear for a long while now I'll wager

Not good, but this was always the risk we ran leaving ourselves so short up front. Makes it even more crucial we leave Kane out tomorrow and play N'jie instead.

I was actually looking forward to the Liverpool game. That front four would of caused their defense all sorts of problems.

Hopeful he'll be back for that game but I'm not holding my breath...wouldn't surprise me if we don't see him until well into November.

Poch was saying Mason was very close to returning just before Palace but that game just came too soon, then he's not included in the squad to face City, I thought it would be a cert that he'd at least travel for tomorrow, and now Poch saying he might be back after the International break.

Obviously it can be tricky to gauge recovery periods due to a number of factors but we're hardly a beacon of accuracy when it comes to this shit. So if Poch says a few weeks for Son, who knows what that will be. Could be three weeks, could be six.

So frustrating given how good we were starting to look and his movement and energy was key to that.

This might be the closest I've seen you to pissed off in awhile, Pinky.

Hopefully Son back for Arsenal.

Damn such a shame, I can for once say thank fuck for the international break.

Would rather not see Chadli come straight back in if I'm honest.
