Does anyone happen to know whether this is serious or not? The club are being pretty vague in their statement

Yeah said he'll be under review for a bit. Probably won't play against Swansea though. Clint should get his first start otherwise chadli will.

Seeing as they've even bothered to make a post on the OS, we can safely assume that both his legs are broken.

Great news ffs, our backup `striker` is now crocked, no wonder the club is being vague.

Son of a bitch!

Just let him get better properly. Already too valuable to risk in any way.

He'd probably be the last player I'd want to get injured injured right now, his movement and change of pace is really making a difference to us.

Silver lining - he could rest over the International break instead of travelling and playing. Although not sure if he was due to play or not.

Edit - having re read the statement, I don't think its too serious...although I doubt he'll be ready for Swansea.

They would of had time to assess the problem so if anything was broken they'd know now surely, so couldn't be that serious. Probably just some bruising and discomfort.

If it was nothing serious, the club wouldnt announce it in a statement of series of tweets. Very unusual for the club to announce an injury that wasnt too serious. Those normly come from Poch's presser or on the form of "team news." So this is very worrying.

At least we have something to pin our inglorious EL/FA Cup/Top 4 failings on now! Every cloud...

I have an odd feeling your general negativity is giving you this view, I'll hold on to optimism

Anyway, I'm sure Poch will be asked in his presser, so we'll know more then. If he's vague about it or the length of time he could be out for, then we can worry.

The positive thing about the injury news is that we have back up options.....i think...somewhere..

Call me a cynic, but anyone think we might just be inventing/exaggerating a slight 'injury' to rest Son completely so we can leave him at home, and boom he's in the line up to play Swanea?!

Wouldn't surprise me and it wouldn't bother me one bit either, his energy and work rate is crucial for us.

Think the update on Twitter may be down to them posting a vid of him knocking over a camera obviously taken before the city game, they rarely give injury news this way so it might be to stop a million tweets about him getting injured doing press work.
