Got a release clause according to BILD.

One could stack up for each part of the team (keeper, defender, midfielder, attack) with players from that least.

I can appreciate that, but you can't knock those numbers, and as Eriksen has proven having players like this in the side can win you a lot of games in the PL. We lacked directness for sure in our opening games, and if he can produce in Germany he can produce here IMO.

Oh, I'm actually a big Eriksen fan, think he's underrated here. Wont get into that last point though as I think it's a common misconception :p In fact, if you look at signings made from Germany, I'd argue they probably have the lowest success rate.

Anyway, had a quick browse on the Leverkusen forums, seems they're all happy to see him off and call him easily replaceable. The figures they're talking are 20-25m (15-18m pound, damn I'm good). Seems they think they can get Meyer in as a much cheaper (€10m) and better replacement (which I hope they're wrong about although I can see that happening). Also it's worth noting they've already signed Mehmedi.

Edit: FWIW, they're also talking about signing Hojbjerg, maybe because of the Aranguiz injury, so there definitely seems no chance of Kramer moving on

Is he comparable to Berahino? Is he the cheaper alternative?

Cheaper yes, comparable in a way because Son started as a striker but ended up being used on the wing. Different styles though, Berahino is a better finisher who runs in behind more, Son is more likely to run from deep and prefers a long shot. Son is probably quicker too, not much in it though. IF there was any truth in this, I don't think it would be an alternative to Berahino.

I like Son but i also think he is a little overrated, kind of player who makes a great showreel but can also go missing a lot. Im not really sure he would be the answer to our problems but saying that, he is obviously a good player and would be happy if we bought him.

He strikes me as a little Chadli like in that respect, although not seen loads of him.

I know he's not like Lamela Lufti, but do you think this interest would be more likely to be linked to Lamela possibly leaving rather than pursuing other options instead Berahino?

To be honest your guess is as good as mine on that, but I would guess so? Knowing how we normally function I suppose we'd need Lamela's transfer fee to come in before we make the move (okay not need as I'm sure we could afford it but you know how it goes).

Don't know if it's worth mentioning, and I haven't read much into this so don't quiz me on it, but Bayer's old sponsor just went into liquidation and the club have to pay up €13m, albeit not immediately. Maybe they're looking to free up some money for that? Again don't know if that's relevant whatsoever but thought I'd put it in anyway.

Well if they beat Lazio tonight they should be able to cover that.
