You just couldnt write this ?? could be good if we're confident on signing someone better however

Yeah those other clubs had 28 days to sign this lad. What are their directors doing? Why are they leaving it so late? Yadda yadda yadda

I really think this guy has the potential to turn into a surprisingly good signing. Currently following the AFCON tournament and he has been pretty impressive with his ball retentions skills/tackles. Reminds me a bit of Dembele on how well he's able to keep the ball to his feet when surrounded with 2/3 players. Thing is I don't know if we can take any more risks with the shit squad of midfielders we have now. I also see him replacing Skipp/Hojberg , not necessarily adding creativity behind our strikers since that is an area we severely lack at this point.

Those two players currently on our books and playing well generally, need not to be replaced but simply added-to. They do good work. It's a Christian Eriksen-style creative player that we have had need of, for the work-rate, skill and eye for an opening.

If this deal backfires, I can see us recalling Sarr from Metz. in fact, they should still recall Sarr even if this deal goes through. I don't have faith in Winks, Skipp, PEH staying healthy and suspension free for the rest of the season.

I can’t help but laugh when thinking of this deal.

“we have to be fast”, knowing full well we can take as long as we like, because ain’t nobody else signing him ?

I really need to have a word with myself...

Now I'm anxious we won't get Amrabants over the line.

Think this was just a contingency and thats why we have'nt pulled the trigger as yet. Our midfield targets may have changed since we have not been able to get in our primary targets which will in essence change the way we might have to play.

Perhaps that should be done anyway. I don't know that he's being played regularly where he still is, so he might as well come to Spurs now and see if we could get him known to the squad and playing as and when.

He's not ready yet.

He isn't built for the PL yet.

We won't know that until he plays. No guarantee that Amrabat will settle in the EPL either. Sarr will be in the squad for the pre-season, why not bring in him now and help him get settled for the remainder of the season? If we're being honest , he's definitely going to offer more than Tanguy, Dele and GLC.
