good enough for what?

regular starter in a side chasing the title or top 4 then no
squad player in either of the above scenarios then yes

Considering we've only scored 4 times in the league from open play and Gylfi has 3 of them I wouldn't be looking to jettison him too soon.

He really does seem like the weak link in our team. Another poor game today.

His good contributions are so few and far between as to be almost worthless. I had such high hopes for him when he joined, but he's generally either average or invisible. It's frustrating as I know he's got the abilities, but for whatever reason he plays like a rabbit caught in the headlights for us.

He was poor today, but I wouldn't expect him to pull up trees playing as an inverted winger in a 4-4-2 formation.

Of course we need versatile players but I'm pretty sure if he got to choose himself he wouldn't be playing on the left wing.

He works hard, gets into good positions, can shoot and is prepared to defend. But he gets caught on the ball too often. He's feet aren't quick enough.

Funnily enough, I thought he put in a really good defensive shift in the second half, but obviously that meant he couldn't do what he's best at. He was chasing everything down and playing out of position, which sort of poses the question why wasn't Capoue picked instead as that's what he is best at.

I like Siggy. I don't think he's good enough to be a regular starter but I like him as a squad player.

Still want to see him as a false 9. Just for my own satisfaction because I thought he had the right qualities at the start of last season. It'll never happen though.

Top,top teams are only as good as their bench and although he seems a nice guy,Siggy wouldn't be starting and wouldn't be on my bench.
If we needed to sell players to strengthen.....................he is one of the players that I would be selling.

I don't actually think he is all that versatile. His pluses are his shot and set piece delivery (although inconsistent recently), he has a good attitude and decent movement. But apart from that -- no pace, average ability on the ball, not a great passer or creator.

Because of his physical limitations, he can't play wide, and he doesn't have the creativity or awareness to play no 10.

Probably to get the best out of him you would play him centrally paired with a fast striker -- which we don't have.

I totally agree with the wealth of talent we have in midfield I seriously think his days are numbered . Just doesn't click in this team or any other team we have fielded tbh
