So..... I find myself in "The Scotsman" in Bergen, Norway, miles away from the game, able to watch it, but annoyed that I can't attend....

....but during the day certain events have transpired in the capital which bade well for Spurs tonight....

...fellow SC member Shakus, long term friend of mine, has taken ill, and so has his wife, leaving his match tickets to whoever is available to go.

Up steps my girlfriend of ten years, who slowly but surely has become the fully fledged THFC supporter I always wanted her to be.

Her record of attendance has been low this season since we had both been stationed here in Norway, away from our usual London address.

However, she has followed the Spurs with me all over Europe in the last few years and made numerous trips to WHL.

And do you know what........?

Spurs have never lost when she is in the stand.

Not once.

It seemed destined that Stoke were to fall short of the battle tonight and by half time the phone calls between us and the original ticket holders had one running theme.....

She must attend more matches.

But alas, she is unemployed and therefore unable to pay her way to anymore games.

What can be done to ensure my lucky mascot goes to the games?

Games that I will almost certainly fail to attend after being given another 3mth contract out here?

My friends and I are thinking of starting a fund to make sure she can attend as many home matches as possible.

Anybody spare a quid?

If it's poor then please don't go. Give your ticket to someone I can trust.

Personally, I have only witnessed 2 defeats at the Lane, 2-1 to Liverpool in '91 and that miserable defeat against Everton last season.

Apart from that I seem to pick em good.

Needless to say, my lady was not able to attend the Everton game, and I even sat next to a Toffee in the South Stand .

Give your ticket it up, you know it makes sense!

If it's any consolation to you Netty, I won't be giving you her ticket in exchange for sex.

That's if I get a pair...

Because If I buy them I have to transfer the money from Norway to pay for them.

That costs a fair bit you know.

Not to mention that since I have been out here over 6 mths I am now being taxed to the hilt :(

If I was still in London I would go.

I miss going to WHL, and especially feel bad since this season has not gone so well.

Although I am glad that 99.9% of the matches are shown here, I still feel that my presence at the match somehow does something (except against Merseyside teams apparently).

She has no equal however, and I am thinking of sending her to Donetsk and Wembley...

Is there anybody else here who has such a good win/loss ratio?

Bad Peter...

You know what I meant.

Actually we met in '98 so it'll be eleven years this March. And she was 18 when I met her...

I'd show a pic but she wouldn't be happy, I have one of her standing next to Berbs outside our hotel in Braga from two years ago but she made me cut her out of it when I posted it on here.

I've been living here since May last year, it's not too bad, just a bit wetter than your average.

Going to matches is the only thing I really miss.

I just had to look back at my account to see when I actually last saw Spurs win. It was Man City away in the Carling up, Tuesday 18th December 2007. I've been to about 15 games since then. Eek If we don't win against Bolton on Saturday, I'm not going to another game this season.

I'll chip in a quid, that much I can spare, just to get the ball rolling.

Also nice to see you display your concern for my health, while I was projectile vomiting from both ends Vinny was warming the seat I should have been in. Although when we went 3-0 up I did think to myself, jesus I should give her my ticket more often.

The moral of this episode is DON'T MOVE ABROAD DURING THE F**CKING SEASON! So if you're thinking of spending more time than the summer in Belize, you're on your own.

Oh and I'm better now by the way..
