This is created mostly for Livorno. I don't watch Serie A but couldn't find a thread.

Newly promoted Livorno kick-off their campaign v Roma.

Livorno: birth place of Italian Communism.

Already today, the fascists, Hella Verona, beat AC Milan 2-1.

I follow Fiorentina. Can't wait for the game tomorrow, home against Catania.

I was relatively pleased with Juve's 1-0 win against Sampdoria away last night. They beat us home and away last year so it was nice to get a little revenge. Very disappointed to see Llorente only get 4 minutes as Vucinic very much frustrated me for most of the game. Tevez played well and I'm glad he got a debut league goal, 2 in 2 for him now. Pogba is going to be world class, I said it last year and I'm still saying it. Marchisio is going to have problems getting back into the team at this rate.

Went there once with my AC pals from the old Fossa Dei Leoni, when Blissett was paying there. Coach arrived late at the ground and we was shoved by the police into an entrance right under where their Hellas Ultras were...Had to run the gauntlet of piss, spit and bitter bottles raining down on us....Not a pleasant ground hellish place and some of the most right wing fans in Italy..

Verona is a lovely city though..

Christ, one of many stories I've heard. Glad you got out ok! Their fans are awful.

Verona is beautiful, though, I met someone from there few years ago, lovely bloke, owned a shoe shop in the centre. Think he was a Roma fan, though.

Is there a website (other than 101gg) where one can watch highlights from the weekends game, something like Bundesliga review?

I don't know about a weekend roundup but I normally just go onto footytube.com and watch various match highlights from there.

I saw this on 101GG, I always wonder why teams in England don't do the same.

I need to get BT Sports asap.

Used to follow Serie A all the time back when C4 did Football Italia. Used to like Fiorentina for Rui Costa and Batistuta. Also liked Sampdoria for David Platt.

Napoli take an early lead, expecting them to school Milan tonight.

Napoli won and Balotelli missed a penalty

Looking good for La Viola! Will be a good season if this continues. So glad a team I follow took a punt on him. Sublime player.

A great buy indeed. I hoped Juve would've gone in for him but I understand why teams didn't want to take the risk, besides I'm very happy with Tevez. It was always going to go one way or the other with Rossi but I'm personally delighted to see him doing so well, he's world class on his day. Him and Balotelli for Italy is a match made in heaven.

Always supported Lazio, the Rome derby is the fiercest I have witnessed, in terms of the primal roar of the fractious, flare embellished spartan crowd at the Stadio Olympico.
