This United hijack thing makes no sense. If he won't join us he'll either stay at PSG or get flogged on the cheap last minute to Inter or Juve.

The issue isn't United lads. That's just a bit of mistranslation / misinterpretation from an article saying his initial choice WAS United.

The work permit is a worry though. L'Equipe have been on the ball with this transfer the whole way through seemingly. Fingers crossed there's not much in their info about a 'lack of confidence' or whatever the quote was.

Honestly I am not even joking I have never ever ever ever ever ever.

Wanted a player as much as this.

You could offer me Messi or Aurier right now and I'd be taking the Ivorian Tank.

Please can we just sign him!

Saying that I have 0 luck so for the whole reason that I actually want him will be the reason we dont get him!

I don't think the Home Office will take your luckometer into account when deciding. Don't take everything so personally.

If we don't sign him, it'll be fine - we'll just be relegated and spiral towards liquidation. Roll with the punches mon ami.

My guess is if Aurier is allowed to play in England at all, it will only be at Spurs. Spurs and their lawyers will have done the work permit application to work at their club. Cant see any other club being able to get the paperwork done before Thursday judging the amount of time its taken so far.
However I have a feeling work permit will be denied and we'll probably never get the full story.

Not always
Also please note journalists using "exceptional" are just quoting the law for visa acceptance/denial, not some insider information. Also legally in the US and I bet in the UK "exceptional" just means "exception from normal circumstance" rather than how we colloquially use it as "rare or unusual"

Trippier has actually made me think that last line is possible with him at right back!

Never seen anything like his performance in my life sunday.

This doesn't smell like something that is going to happen to me...too many things in the way.
Still not sure he's the kind of character we want at the club. Can't see an arrogant billy big boots lasting five minutes with Poch, particularly if he'd rather be somewhere else.
