Just wanna check something...
Last time we were in the CL, the first two CL matches at home were free to Season ticket holders as the first two home cup games are free every year.

Just been reading up on the renewal links that were tweeted earlier and that doesn't seem to be the case this year...we still get the first two home cup matches free, but it states at White Hart Lane.
So it looks like we'll have to pay for all the CL home matches as well as having to trek to Wembley.

Have I got this right?
Seems a bit off if so.

To be fair, they couldn't win. If they'd kept it as first 2 cup games then people would have complained about how much harder it is for them to get to Wembley.

Well I don't buy that...mainly because they have won.
What with the new TV deal and CL revenue on top of that, they now see fit to sting the most loyal with this little chestnut.
Price freeze my arse...they give with one hand and take with the other.

Guessing it would be a nightmare trying to assign seats to season ticket holders. You will get plenty of people then wanting to change seats as they want to sit in a different area.

Can see why they have just gone down the WHL route.

Agree a much more straight forward process.

Looking forward to seeing Spurs at Wembley with that champs league music pumping!

So what happens if we get knocked out of the League and FA Cup playing away ?

Same thing that always happened - ST holders suck it up and put it down to luck of the draw (I think the 'free' games always expired at the QF stage anyway).

If I recall a few years back they actually took some money off the next season ticket as we didn't meet the quota of 21 games.

Yep thats correct I believe it was either £70 off next years season ticket or a £70 voucher to spend in the club shop. Was the season where we only played 40 games!

I'm a staunch supporter of Levy but I don't think this is justified.

The first couple of home cup games are always free and moving the goalposts just because we are in the Premier cup competition is wrong. Season ticket holders had to accept Qarabag and the rest of the Europa teams as part of the deal over the last decade so should get the reward of the bigger teams now.

I've no doubt maximising revenue from the CL will help us in the long run but stitching up your most loyal fans in the process just feels wrong to me.

This is the crux of it for me...it's the most loyal fans who will have to pay more, no one else.
I too am a supporter of Levy, but this just seems wrong to me.

And I'm not buying 'it would've been hard to assign the Wembley seats to season ticket holders' bollocks...no it wouldn't, it'd be simple to match each block at WHL to its equivalent at Wembley.
It's a cash grab...plain and simple.

I agree, it's not rocket science to super impose WHL on Wembley and give an equivalent ticket.

It will be even worse if we are going to have the full 90,000. Surely letting 23,000 season ticket holders in won't make that much difference? Especially as if we play 2 cup games (League or FA) at home we would re-coup most of the cost anyway.
