Ok. Maybe not value for money. But at a time when we are paying top dollar, are we getting anything for our money?
I completely get your point mate. It’s been as grim as you can get recently and, with the prices we‘ve paid over the last however many years,… surely…surely…we deserve something!? A Carabao Cup? Some well-placed passes at least, right!?

I suppose I’m just in a “We are who we are“ stage. It’ll probably change tomorrow 🙄

Got to be off your head to be renewing currently
I renewed - £1525. I didnt feel great about it - paying that much for something i dont enjoy. The problem is that I give it up now, and ill most likely wait 20 years for another.

I havent been to as many games as id like but that is due to personal reasons but even if it wasnt - dont think id want to go watch conte ball.

At this stage I just want to feel like I’m not better off being elsewhere.

They’ve tricked you with the whole “waiting list” thing.

We were offered season tickets after being members for a few years (and being 50k+ on the “list”). Also, if you buy a half-season ticket as a member, you’re offered to turn that into a season ticket the year after. Anyone who wants one can get one, it’s not like the old days at WHL.

I havent really asked them but just cant take the risk - im still hopeful we will be successful in my lifetime.

I dont know how long the waiting list thing is but and I know im being a **** here but there is no reason to give it up. If i dont go, I sell my tickets within 20 mins of placing it on the exchange.

I imagine it is simpler to get an ST given the predicament we are in

Depends who’s having the tough times. Business wise Spurs are ticking over quite nicely and have no intention of doing anything differently as the cash is rolling in. How about they support us a little bit by giving us some value for money for what is a pretty hefty outlay for a lot of people in the current economic climate. Unless you think we’re getting value for money?
What are you asking for exactly? A cut in ST prices?

I wouldn’t waste my time. I want the club to have some direction. Preferably one in line with Spurs traditional philosophy to entertain. I don’t want to leave the ground hating being there.

I will be renewing again for mine and my 2 sons as will my brother, but it’s getting more and more difficult to justify. I think it’s the whole father-son thing now rather than the actual match day enjoyment.

Would be helpful if we knew who the new manager is going to be as fingers crossed if its one of the 3-4 most mentioned ones then next season should be a lot more fun at least.

Fair enough but at the end of Pochs tenure there was a significant amount of spurs calling for a trophy over entertainment and that got us Mourinho and the Conte. The latter being the best possible elite manager in the world available.

Now I personally prefer attacking progressive football but I don't think it's necessarily fair to say hiring Conte wasn't the club attempting "value for money".

just my onions

I can’t answer for what others wanted. Personally I was in the camp that wanted Poch to have his rebuild. We knew that when given the opportunity he was going in the direction we wanted to go. But that’s for another day. Just fucked off that we’ve wasted 4 years after finally making so much progress.

Conte failing this season after the miracle of last season is a bitter and confusing blow.

But if we can choose the right manager and have the patience the new stadium will provide the funds we unfortunately didn't provide Poch back when we had that window of opportunity.

I don’t find the whole Conte thing confusing. Much like Mourinho, he had previous and the end was sadly predictable before the appointment.

Sadly again, it’s down to Levy to choose the manager and it’s not exactly his strong point.

That is not the problem. The problem is that Levy has created a false narrative to make mugs like us believe that to be true. Look around many of the posters on here who talk about having been 50k down the list and having been offered a ST the last few years.

I will probably renew. I'm very unsure.

The only reason I will is because me and my friend have gaslighted each other into thinking that the season we do something will be the season when we don't renew.

This is where I am too. I hate giving this lot my money but having sat through the last few years, which has been the least enjoyable way I can think of to spend £1000 a year, I’m optimistic that next season will be better. Mainly because it can’t really get any worse. Can it? Surely it can’t.

I genuinely don’t see the point in getting a season ticket and that’s why I’m not renewing. There are tickets available for pretty much every game on the ticket exchange. Save your money, honestly.

No, it can't be any worse.

I just can't stand going right now.

Nonsense, there’s so much more real estate ENIC have got to build first

the hotel complex

the whole block between the stadium and train station

Yeah... I'm quite okay with Enic's investment in the local community - one of the most deprived in London. In fact I'd prefer it if Spurs fans insisted Enic do MORE for the local community rather than trying to drive them out in favour of some Oil slaver. But that's just me.
