How come it costs 65 quid?

I thought the reason we paid a deposit was so they could take any money out of that or did I dream that?
If we return to full capacity before the end of the season, the deposit will be used to pay for their tickets. Any remainer be rolled over till next season. And if we have more than 20% of our home games at full capacity there'll be an extra charge to make up the difference.

It's nonsense. My town is one of the safest in the country but Kent as a county is tier 3
I can see the logic on not going down to that level though. If your town was Tier 2 half of Kent would travel there to go to the pubs etc and it wouldn't be safe for long

I see what you're saying, but in that case there's nothing to stop me travelling to London (as a tier 2 location). Also frustrating because I live miles outside the town, it just happens to be the nearest big settlement. Maybe I should move house, go home to London

So is it only fans that live close to the stadium that are eligible for the ballot for home tickets?

No anyone can apply but I think that would have made a lot of sense that people who have an N or EN postcode can apply - - ps I don't

Liverpool have restricted their tickets to people in the immediate area

Glad we’re not doing that. I live in north Hampshire and use no public transport to go to Spurs, so there’s absolutely no reason why I should have less access that someone who lives in Haringay.

I don't either but I think the point is that you still interact with people popping in a shop or whatever so it seems to me to make some sense to limit it to locals in the unlikely event you will get a ticket anyway

Would have been nice to have some indication as to where the 2000 seats will be situated in the stadium, would assume they will use lower tier but along side or in south stand maybe.

When I applied it said south Lower. I assume we will all be there

That's made up my mind then, I prefer a more lofty position to a low level one so will watch on TV , will give ballot a miss , lowers the odds of others getting a seat from 1 in 42000 to 1 in 41999. :)

yes they have said the South Stand. Makes sense as you can’t walk around the other stands from there. The other three sides have no dividing walls between and you can walk around

Also makes sense to put 2000 in south lower section , it would create at least some atmosphere behind that goal , be interesting to see what kind of noise 2000 can make in a stadium specially designed for acoustics.

In terms of location, the email said:

Pricing is in line with the average price of a seat in the South Stand, which is where all General Admission fans will be located.

What's everyone's general feeling about going/applying?

Pretty good, I hope I get a ticket. I live in Maida Vale so short of walking, I think the best way would be to walk to a tube station (so pretty far!) on the Vicky line and go from there. I could walk along the canal to Kings X and then get the tube so it will be minimal exposure.

Yeah the 2000 are being put in the south stand.

Would love to apply but unfortunately in Ireland and air travel wouldn't be wise. Be nice having fans back though even if it is a small amount!
