Imagine if Levy did that to us... just imagine....fucking uproar

Barca fans dont pay much for their STs right? still their money and entitled to it...

Isn't there some weird ownership structure at Barcelona where their season ticket holders basically own a proportion of the club by being a member. It is vastly different from being a season ticket holder here I'm sure of it.

No chance we would do it here anyway. I'd be instructing solicitors for the money immediately if they did.

"Those tickets will remain valid for whenever those outstanding games are played. If the games are eventually cancelled, refunds will be issued"

But the games are not getting cancelled... we are just not allowed to attend

Strictly, not season tickets, but has anyone seen anything about renewal of memberships for next season?

Current period ends 31st May, if you have direct debit then it should happen automatically. If not, then I'm assuming they will email you or something. Memberships are still on sale on the website

Oh bollocks. They’ll use that against us no doubt

Dunno what to do with my membership as it’ll come out next month but is it worth doing another year?

Cancelled mine, don’t see the point, it’s a lot of money for a dodgy scarf and badge in a pretty box.
If the situation changes you can always get a new one, loyalty points are pretty irrelevant now given the number of season ticket holders, any big games will always sell out to those first, so a membership is only really a priority ticket booking scheme.
Also, personally gave quite enjoyed the last few months without bothering about football and my priorities have now changed.

Only if you're on the waiting list and want a season ticket eventually IMO. Other than that it's only really for match ticket priority and goodness knows if/when we'll have football matches next season, especially at full capacity.

I’ve emailed to find out what’s happening with it

If Levy did that - id fuckin canel my ST, it wont affect them because someone else would take my ST but i would quit supporting Spurs. IOt isnt the money its the fact that the fans would be considered worthless

Anyways lets see i cant imagine Levy not reimbursing... Its a fair bit of money

It's an interesting case study.

I've not, for even a second, considered asking or requiring my Aussie Rules Club (Hawthorn) to refund my (family) membership. From the moment this started I knew that Hawthorn would be at great financial risk and that my membership was not for game attendance but to ensure its continued survival.

Now this applies because I was there when my club almost folded in 1996/97 so I have living memories of that and wanting to avert it happening again - even though Hawthorn is now one of the more financially secure Aussie Rules teams.

With Spurs... How do I feel?

It feels like me season ticket is a financial transaction. I get "guaranteed access" via the medium of a "guaranteed outlay". My season ticket is not an expression of loyalty necessarily - but one of commitment.

But this is surely only a recent development (by "recent" I mean "last 20/30 years"). In days gone by Spurs members were properly "members" - in that their financial contribution via membership was an expression of loyalty and fiduciary commitment regardless of on field success (or even on field action).

All of which is to say - I'm expecting money back but if the club were to face insolvency I'd "waive" that refund but only because (right now) I'm financially secure enough to do so. But many others aren't. SO they deserve refunds.

It’s about time they communicated with us what exactly their plans are, clear as day their will be no fans for the remainder of the season! Also the fact some fans may be out of work and could do with the money due to this whole situation

I think they will soon. Today there’s a meeting to talk about going back to training. There must be one to talk about games definitely being behind closed doors too. Once that happens they will have to come to a conclusion about the season ticket money. Same for every club.

Appreciate people are in different financial situations and some could do with the club acting faster with the refund of season tickets. But I wouldn't panic that they wont refund the remaining games. Im 100% sure they will. Think most premier league clubs haven't yet started the refund process,

It just show's how desperate SSN are for content that they went so over the top on the news that Everton had started the refund process. Pretty sure I heard the SSN reporter saying what a fantastic gesture this was by Everton!

I'm sure we'll have 'access' to all the games. I expect Tottenham to charge us something for broadcast through Spurs TV. Say £5 per game per ST holder and maybe even member. I think it will cause a shit storm but it is Spurs after all! You might need to sign up to this mini TV ST to get full access, but they won't miss the trick. Of course this will only apply per household.

I reckon until they have completely sorted out schedules and whether it really is going to happen then they're keeping schtum.
