I sometime wonder if we really need to know information like this, we just seem to put ourselves out to the world as an absolute circus show.

In the background it may be absolutely nothing, but we've got media reporting every little minor hiccup
Can we really control it though? I’m sure it wouldn’t been leaked somewhere to a journalist and would’ve then come out eventually.

Based on the replies to Gold's post - you are not wrong. So many dumbfucks screaming "Clown show" "spursy" etc.

"The media" know that twitter journo and blogs and podcasts will lap it up, and it'll get clicks and hits and 'engagement' so making everyone's own sense of importance rise and the bean counters think they can charge more for advertising.

It's a big snooze fest. In reality he's working for us know, unofficially, probably as a contractor or voluntarily to be future-compensated, when his 'official' start date is. Non-story.

Fortunately this will be completed by 2 December, else City might think to take the same legal action against us that Elon is threatening to take against Zuckerberg due to his Threads employees.

There's an astonishing* number of people tweeting #LevyOut today because to date we only have Vicario and Maddison definitely signed as of 16 days into the window.

People like the sound of their own voices, especially if they can feel cool, edgy and/or rebellious in shouting into the void.

It does seem a bit odd that his starting date wasn't something that was set in stone back when... but at the same time, I'm aware that in practically any organisation, regardless of the money invested, there are unforeseen hold-ups and unpredicted contractual matters. And especially within large organisations, it's better to take the time to cross the t's and dot the i's properly rather than act cavalierly.

*Possibly an exaggeration - I don't spend a lot of time on Twitter

Knowing our luck City will pin the blame of all their financial dodginess on Munn and he will a worldwide ban like Paratici!

In all seriousness I bet if City get done for all that stuff nobody will get a ban like Fabio.

Supposedly the delay is linked to his notice period which if he wasn't fully aware of is unforgivable. People should know their contract's especially at a certain level and then when going to change employer.
If he can't manage to read and understand his own contract then you'd have to wonder about his competence.

If true it’s quite on brand for 2023 Spurs though..

If this is true then he'll fit right at home at the club that struggles to count!

Not in the exec world obviously. He has people like you to do that and they’ve failed him

I heard the issue is in Oz they don’t really have a legal notice period just say “I’m off in the summer then”

only problem is, it’s only the summer here - it’s the depths of winter down there!

We had to terminate Doherty's contract because we couldn't count to 8.

This is but a minor inconvenience, and nothing to do with competence.

Thanks for the negative rating and also for mentioning Doherty. Do you mind pointing out in my actual message where I linked munn with Doherty or even mentioned Doherty??
