Signing Benrahma would allow us to use Sonny as a proper deputy to Kane as well as up top with him. Maybe we think Sonny is a far better option up top than some of the potential ST signings we're looking at? This lad is also great competition for Sonny and offers something different.

Son will love being on the bench as much as Kane. Necessary though. But we need a proper goal scorer too.

Granted, I've only seen him play in one match, which was the playoff final against Fulham, but I thought he did next to nothing in that game.

Agree the only games I've seen him play are the play off games but he did nothing in those games to really make me think at the time that he worth buying or they hype the commentators in those matches where giving him. But same time cant really judge a player on three games.

I have little opinion on this guy. What I would observe is that he's like Ziyech, but far less proven and hardly less expensive. If we wanted that type of player, why didn't we go for him?

We've missed some sh*t hot players in the recent past, for reasons totally unknown

Gards might not be as ‘ITK’ anymore but Daka And benrahma would be great stuff

I know a fair amount about Brentford FC for various reasons due to work. This guy is good, but completely what we don’t need. We have these kind of players already who are used to playing in premiership and are better. If this is who we’re interested in then I zero faith in what we are doing given the holes elsewhere in the first team squad.

Made even more shocking by the fact we have to sell in order to buy.

I can only hope such assertions of interest are way off mark.

I do like this type of signing and even if he didn't start or didn't start initially, it's a good quality option from the bench and to fill in for certain games especially with the schedule.

I have to admit though that I don't think we'll get the most out of any of our attacking players until we sort out the issue of creativity from the middle of the pitch. We could have Messi or Ronaldo out on the wings and something still wouldn't be right with the flow of our play as it is now.

Daka is an interesting one, stats for last season are pretty impressive.
Not sure RB would entertain what we’d offer though and at 21 why would he come to us when he’s at a club which are in such an upward trajectory where he’s performing well and given regular game time?

Because its the premier league, more money, more exposure.

I have fallen into the trap of watching a YouTube highlights video of Daka and now feel he’s the greatest striker on earth and we must sign him.

I think he is lovely player to watch, he offers something which we haven't got he goes past players for fun he is pretty quick and for the type of player that he is gets involved in games. I think he would be a real interesting signing, fun to watch he has almost a unique skill set for the premier league I see a bit of Ginola in him and that would be terrific

Brentford were great to watch last season and he was a large part of the reason why - you could quite easily go there and pick up 3 very interesting signings and Benrahma was amazingly consistent last year 18 goals for a wide man is a bit better than a 1 in 5 ratio

He's at Salzburg, not Leipzig. There's only so far you can climb when you've won the Austrian league 11 times in the last 15 years and the Austrian cup in 7 of the last 9 years.

Really hope ITK is wrong here, he's Unproven, expensive, not he grown, not that young, and not even needed for our first team. He's a palace kind of signing, not a Tottenham kind of signing.
