Ok....really nervous now.

Please let that be nonsense.

When I think about it logically though, Valencia really need to raise money - and our need to get this guy is massive, their chairman even saying how close we are...surely for the love of God we'll do this.

Would be the biggest prick tease in history if this doesn't happen now.

If we all just take a second before slitting our wrists. The article says that we did not reach agreement last night, everybody knew that anyway, so the rest could just be an inference and dramatic headline to sell copy. Levy, as tight as he can be, is not going to embarrass himself, and more importantly Baldini who has a global reputation established over decades, by telling him to offer x amount and then telling him to offer less.

I'll wait for some more news to trickle through.

But if it does turn out to be true, we simply move on. It's the spurs way..................

"the deal was close, but not closed. Then, once the other party wanted to change the terms that were spoken at that meeting, decided to step forward and stop the transfer of striker. Thus, the contact that was scheduled for Tuesday is suspended indefinitely"

Please tell me this isn't the classic Levy lowball - negotiate a fee then drop the offer at the last minute....

Sounds pretty detailed though and as though they've backed out and want to keep him now, sounds ominous tbf.
Maybe. Not sure how they're signing players left right and centre though, putting themselves into even further debt. They were selling Soldado because they need the money. Maybe someone had a look down the back of the sofa.
